Peace has come to Tamriel and Westeros and the two realms share an alliance. Talion Dovahkiir now a young man has mastered the Thu'um and become Dovahkiin like his father the Dragonborn. Eddard Stark Dovahkiir, son of Arya Stark and Kellian Dovahkiir shows promise in the way of the Voice. For the Dragonborn and his wife Daenerys, they cannot be any happier. Their enemies have been defeated and their daughter Brianna is now Master of the Blades. But evil never truly dies for the ancient enemies of Middle-earth have escaped imprisonment and seek to destroy not only the Kingdom of Gondor, but Tamriel, the Northern Kingdoms and Westeros.

Zôrzimril has known nothing in her life, but the sickly light of the decaying tower of Minas Morgul. Taken into Mordor as a child by the Witch-King of Angmar, she is the last of his ancient bloodline lost to the centuries. Well educated in the lore of poisonous plants and dark magic, she is a pawn to be used after the Dark Lord's victory. Zôrzimril has long accepted and waited for her fate. Her obedience to the Dark Lord is complete. Until the Witch-King is defeated before the walls of Minas Tirith and the lands of Mordor destroyed. All that is left to the lady of the Dead City is the bitterness in her heart and the corpse of the Captain of the White Tower, the tool for her revenge.

The Witch-King of Angmar has returned to his throne in Minas Morgul, back under the shadow of Sauron, and is to lead the Mordor Host to battle against the Men of the West. However, now he has to hide the freedom of his mind and heart from his master in order to protect the one who who holds his heart. Inconnu Naeril races to Minas Tirith, again chasing after the wraith who now has also taken her heart with him, in the hopes she will reach him before the final battle of good versus evil can start. However easy her journey might be getting there, it is wait awaits her that will truly challenge her resolve and test her metal in war.
