In 1830s New Orleans, the dead do not rest-and neither do the sins of the powerful. When Seraphine DuRue, a rumored blood-witch healer, is accused of resurrecting the dead, she becomes the city's next offering to its sugar-coated monsters. People are being killed in their homes. Ivaila's government believes that the witches and their male counterparts are to blame. The witches believe that it is the government killing the witches of Ivaila who people stilled believed were just normal humans. Witch hunters are lining every block and the mourning Dahlia, with her nephew Liam, are trying to escape the country to find refuge elsewhere when they are denied permission unless they find a male to accompany them. What will happen when Xavier, a witch hunter since the age of sixteen, volunteers to go on the journey with them? What secrets would they die to keep?

WARNINGS: GRAPHIC DESCRIPTIONS OF VIOLENCE; BURNING; USE OF MAGIC; (Not Witchcraft, though it is described as such. The magic is MADE UP, and therefor harmless); THIS HAS REFERENCED BOYXBOY, THOUGH DEPENDS ON HOW YOU INTERPRET IT To add: Those are based in a made-up world, that does not consist of our own map or any historical one. It only is very referenced to the real world and its historical events. Summary: [One shot] Burning of a witch in your un-friendly neighborhood, though he claims to be an innocent little boy. Though is he really not a witch? Is he really still just a human? All from the POV of the witch. Wrote this when I was bored, do not expect this to be perfect. I am a sucker for good grammar though, so if you see anything. If you want more chapters for this (Other POV's, backstories, etc.) you can comment and ask nicely LOL.

Information on the Thirteen Witch Clans of Ostines, from the roleplay 'Witch Hunt' by me.

From the movie, "Hansel & Gretel; Witch Hunters," the love story of the Dark, Horned Witch is told. She hates all man kind and doesn't love. Witches can't love humans, but that soon changes when she met the one who is destined to love, a young girl, Addison Caper, who moved from England to Augsburg to live with her Grandmother. The horned witch sensed a new, and yet strange feeling, love. But she's afraid to show herself to Addison, what if she hated witches, what if she's scared. But, when Addison first saw her, she showed sincerity of friendship. Secretly, they meet with each other in the forest. As the witch's love grew stronger, confessed to her of how she really feels towards her. But, Addison, didn't feel the same way, for she has interests in men only. So, without anyone knowing, the horned witch disguised herself as a young, handsome man from Japan. She use the name Gerhan Tanaki. It was the only way to be with her. Everyone fooled, not knowing her true identity, as Addison slowly falls in love with her/him. Will the charade end quickly? Will her true identity be revealed? Will Addison still love her when she learns the truth? Find out by reading this romance fanfic novel, and find out more of the story. *Note* I do NOT, own the characters of hansel and gretel characters, but own Addison, her grandmother, and Gerhan's characters. I do not own the pictures either. Enjoy reading this...

Ah, so you found this story, have you? You have listened to Witch Hunt, yes? You should, if you haven't, especially JubyPhonic's version. You don't need to hear it to read this story, however. This is the fairytale the song was based off, or it might be the fairytale based off the song. Who knows? You should gather your friends and grab a few handkerchiefs while you're at it. This is a sad tale to begin with. This is the tale of the Witch Hunt.

Will is ordinary; Destiny is strange; Serena is an outcast; Xavier is powerful; Luka is troubled; and Jack... well, we don't talk about Jack. These six strangers, together with prophecies, cults, witches, murder and a little bit of Fate, have the potential to save the world. Or destroy it. It all depends on who gets to them first.
