With the ever growing threat from the fear stricken citizens from Salem, the recently established magical community of the United States of America retreated farther underground many would have ever though possible. Abigail Anderson decided it would be safer to move herself and her sisters far from the area and relocated to the Midwest so as to avoid the persecution of their community. It was in their new home that they found they weren't the only members of the magical community that had moved to the area. Many of their new friends requested the trio to tutor their own children in the magical arts and the sisters were all to clad to. After lengthy discussions over the next two years, the decision to officially open their own school of magic became a realistic option but the worry of a second Salem event happening would have to be prevented by all means necessary. It was on one of the islands in Lake Michigan that the sisters built their school, far from the eyes of any curios Nomaj and protected heavily by charms and defensive spells to avoid any further problems. Almost three hundred years later, Westwood Academy of Magic still stands as a safe haven and proud institution for young witches and wizards from all over the country as well as their sister schools Ilvermorny and Alma Aleron. With recent events happening at Westwood and MACUSA decisions will soon be made in the wizarding world that will soon rock the magical community to its very core.

And that's kind of okay. One day I feel like a witch, another like an activist. On some days I just want to is to fix all my family and friends' heartaches. Some polished, gemlike days, I feel peace and nothing else. These patterns are mine, but we all have patterns that repeat. The lesson is simply this, I feel - to embrace the journey fully, even when we hate it, because it serves a greater purpose. To learn to love ourselves and others, regardless of all our spiritual debts. There is no 'quick fix' to be at peace. The pursuit of peace lies in experience, going through the fall and ascension that is being human, no matter how much it hurts. In climbing upwards pain is a given, but so is light. I'd love to share some of my experiences, in verse. Some of them are fantasy-inspired, others are from life, and others yet (perhaps my favourites), I can't quite place their origin. PART 1: WITCH This part is based on the experiences of a soul who keeps being born a witch from the 1600s - 1800s. She only ever wants to help ease all the suffering she sees in her world, and turns to magic as a resource. Repeatedly she is misunderstood, and the people she loves will leave her. Repeatedly, the men she meets spurn the divine feminine in her, each one persecuting her in their own unique way. Her name is Evangeline. I like to think she finds peace in the end. That even as she's born in modern times, her art of magic isn't burned out, it simply transforms to something new.

When Charlotte has no choice but to return home after ten years she is forced to deal with the past that was erased from her memories. From her normal teen life she is thrusted into a world of witch craft and the dangers that come with being a witch. But she is not alone a whole coven of witches her age are waiting for her but will she trust them or give into temptations that dark magic has to offer her? Charlotte will unveil a whole new danger and a danger that was placed on her from her mothers coven. Every choice she makes will be change the course of her and the coven she was born to's life.
