This book contains poems I created using two lines of my favourite songs. I mostly find these poems to reflect either depression or cheerfulness and freedom or restriction. Please note that the lyrics may not be completely accurate, but I think it's close enough ^^ I will list the songs beneath the poem, in order. Song - Artist - Album. The King of Shadows has returned, and the scar on Silence's chest marks her as the hero to defeat him. So many years ago, today, a sword was broken upon the earth. A sword broken, and a hero born. A series of poems that follow a couple torn between love and duty, inspired by the Within Temptation song of the same name. Told in letter form between the two lovers, this series will explore the lives of a man and woman amidst the most devastating war in their country's history. Magic, romance, and struggle are central to my biggest literary undertaking so far. Ok, pretentious intros aside, I was really inspired by this song, and this story just popped into mu head. I hope you all enjoy it!
