Emma would find out later that despite being human, she has magic like the witches, and that she is in a kingdom ruled by a seemingly immortal king and queen in an otherwise apocalyptic world. she's the only one who can fix their world, if she can figure out what dark magic left it lifeless.

Sabrina and Kianna Caro are twins and best friends. When Sabrina get excepted into the best school in Oceania and Kianna is not they have to split up. But even though she is not with her sis, Sabrina still has a possibility for a good year at Coral Acadmey. There is A Rumor going a round that the Emerald pearl is hidden in the school if in the wrong hands it could destroy. The sea horse mail carriers send a letter to Sabrina saying they are after it. But the letter doesn't say who it's from. All Sabrina knows is someone is after the Emerald pearl.
