Or at least, that's what she thought. Adalyn Williams has struggled for years with thoughts and feelings she was raised to believe were wrong. Over the years, she'd perfected the role of perfect daughter, but one day, she decides to give up the lie and come clean to her family. That is the night she tries to end her own life. Instead, Adalyn slips into a coma, and for 12 days, she believes she is alone in this strange In -Between world. When the two meet on The Bridge, things finally begin changing. Both lives hang in this In-Between, unsure of what comes next, and they learn to take advantage of the time they have together. But the thought is never far from their minds: What if they wake up? Will they remember each other? Will they get to keep the love they discovered?

The story of my first lesbian love and heartbreak. I fell in love with a staff member at summer camp. I was 18, so no illegal activities here, friends! And it was more of an organized camping trip than literal summer camp. The core of this story is true and it's my story, this happened to me. But I added some things here and there to make the story more enjoyable to read and changed a few details to try to keep my identity and the identities of the people relevant for the story somewhat private. Other than that I can already tell you that this story has no happy end in a sense that we end up together (hence the heartbreak) so if you're looking for that, keep looking.
