They said love is the most dangerous thing on this planet. Nga naman, medyo may pagka unexpected talaga ang mga love stories ng bawat tao, I mean, look at my parents. haha. They used to tell each other "I love you", then kissed. I used to see them being clingy with each other. Every. Single. Day. And honestly, iyon ang pinakamagandang bagay na nakita ko sa kanila.
But again, love stories are full of plot twists and such. Isang araw, umuwi si mama ng naka jacket. I could barely see her face, but even from a distance, I knew her face was all red - na para bang kagagaling lang niya sa pag iyak. Matinding pag iyak.
Then came my father who almost fell to the floor habang hinabahol si mama. I did not hear their exact conversation, and even if I did, I still would not understand. I am just 15. I don't know anything about love.
Only after I turned 17 did I know that my dad cheated 2 years ago. And as someone who hasn't been in love, I don't know how much it hurts my mother to know that he cheated on her. All I know is that for the past 2 years, my mother would always have her eyes watery whenever I asked about dad.
And from that, I promised myself that I would never fall in love with someone na magche-cheat sa akin. Or at least that's what I kept on telling myself.
