The fire unleashed is a wings of fire story. It is set 30 dragon years after book 15. As a young dragonet, Mangomoon, or Purplefire seeks her parents who vanished 3 years ago. As she searches the Rainforest isle for them, she has no idea what is lurking on the seemingly empty island. It's only when she finds a mysterious shard that she begins to uncover the secrets of the Peacekeepers and realises that the end may be sooner than she thinks it is. Together, they find an animus-cursed object. An animus dragon is a dragon with the ability to enchant objects with speech or thought. But with each spell, depending on how big a spell, eats away the animus's soul bit by bit, until they go insane. Unless the animus enchants something to protect their soul. Everglade is horrified. The MudWing queen accidentally touches it and becomes evil. The threesome struggle and toil to find a solution for the MudWing queen. Can they find a cure? Or will the MudWings have an evil ruler for as long as the queen lives(which will be a long, long, LONG time)? The threesome continue to struggle and try to figure out how to help, but then a mysterious goo suddenly ppears out of SEEMINGLY nowhere in the Sky Kingdom... Can they help the SkyWings AND save the queen before it's too late? This is by inspiration from Tui T. Sutherland's Wings of Fire series. There will be my own characters and Tui's mixed together. However, with the help of an IceWing named Gyrfalcon, she is able to escape her gruesome fate at the talons of Burn and goes to a sanctuary for second-talon dragons and dragonets all over Pyrriah. Something dark and dangerous is coming to the sanctuary, however. A twisted dragon filled with greed and hate is clawing her way closer to the whereabouts of the sanctuary, and there is nothing even the leader of the hidden kingdom can do to stop the betrayal and tyranny winging its way towards their hidden anomaly safehold.
