The War of the SandWing Succession is now over. Pyrrhia is at peace now, the Dragonets have opened up an Academy. But, of course, not everyone agrees. And War can cause lots of things, grief, grudges, and perhaps loneness. At least that's what Scorch feels like. He doesn't agree sharing a cave or area at all with other dragons. He'd prefer to stay behind in the SandWing orphanage and be left alone, but Queen Thorn insists on him going, and wouldn't take no for an answer, so he went. When he arrived, he realized that all the time he spent avoiding dragons and being alone, was another pain he couldn't bare. Protecting the dragons he now cares about, he sets his eyes on a suspicious dragon, one he hasn't seen before. Scorch and his friends now realize that this dragon could either bring Pyrrhia together, or cause it to fall...

Danger is hidden in even the safest of places... Valley Academy, a school for Silkwings only on a island a bit away from Pantala, is the hope for flamesilks. Marblewing and Moonflower, the founders of the school, want to make it a safe place for Silkwings with a chance of being flamesilk to not be captured in Wasp' claws. But of course, the students don't know it. So when Sunrise gets a invitation to Valley Academy, she makes friends quickly and has a good time. These are stories about some characters in the main 'An Assassin's Choice' series that are vague and/or need an explanation! 1. Kyte Kyte is a young SkyWing-SandWing hybrid tossed aside by her parents. She knew from a young age that they didn't love or even want her; her existence was just a burden for them. Mightyroar Mightyroar, the son of Fierceteeth and the deceased Strongwings, is sort of struggling with his relationship with his mother. He wants to leave to go on a field trip that the nearby school that his friends are in has arranged. However, since the field trip is to the Rainforest Kingdom, Fierceteeth forbids Mightyroar from going. Mightyroar, as we know, goes anyway because he just doesn't care.
