Relma Artorious grew up in the rural areas of Gel Carn, suspecting but not knowing her heritage. This story is part of my short story collection. Every month me and my friends take turns to come up with a prompt to a story. Some are very short, some a bit longer and some I might turn into a larger story later if I ever find the time for it. This was my entry of August 2025. The story ends with the two of them standing together against a world that still views the boy as an asset, now united by a bond that no amount of gold can break.
