A short/long story of how one co-worker falls for her best friend. The affection that JJ thought she had with Emily was purely platonic, over time her feelings grew into more. As that took place, JJ had complex feelings after one case s3 ep 17 where that one unsub coudn't come to terms with his sexuality. JJ had a talk with Arron Hotchner, a brief conversation that made JJ realise something. (Show later in the story) So one night JJ took it upon herself to talk to Emily in her apartment, one thing led to another and they kissed. By this time regret and shame flew into JJ thoughts on how she wanted to be the perfect daughter when her sister died. (So uhm will and JJ have been dating for a year) btw im not sure if this going to be a oneshot or one short story

Because love wasn't even a thought to her. People assumed she was asexual because she never dated or vocally said that she liked anyone but to her it wasn't that deep. She just honestly think she doesn't have time for it Of course, that was a given answer for someone who is a hell bent academic achiever. It was her study above all. Until it wasn't. A story that wouldn't have a beginning if she did not glanced at her direction.

I never understood why I found myself paying so much attention to her. She was just a friend, someone I happened to know better than most. Yet somehow, every little thing about her seemed to catch my attention-the things she said, the things she didn't, even the moments when she thought no one was watching. Perhaps it was because I had always considered her my rival, even if she never saw me the same way. Perhaps it was because she was the only person who could make ordinary days feel strangely significant. Whatever the reason, the more I tried to understand her, the more I found myself becoming entangled in something I couldn't quite name. And I wasn't sure whether I was trying to figure her out-or myself.

Not just a regular love story. But more like a journey about two girls who are complete opposites-one quiet and analytical, the other vibrant and free-who find their paths colliding when the universe decides to play cupid. This is a fictional slow-burn story, and neither character fits the tomboy type. I really hope you find something in their journey that resonates with you.
