"Kasalanan na nga ang umibig dahil madre ka, at sa babae pa talaga." Maria Soledad "Sol" Peñaflorida had already devoted her entire life to God long before she was transferred to a small town church in North Carolina. She came there believing it would only be temporary. A quiet place to serve, pray, and eventually leave behind without attachment. Then she met Christina, the woman who came to church every Sunday with her family, always dressed like she belonged in the softest parts of heaven. The woman who looked at Sol a little too long, spoke to her a little too gently, and slowly became the reason why prayers started feeling heavier on Sol's tongue. What they had was never simple enough to be called friendship, but never safe enough to become love. So they stayed in between, because Sol knew the moment she chose Christina, she would lose the only life she had ever known, and Christina knew loving a woman who could never fully choose her would eventually ruin her. Two worlds. One apartment. And a price tag too high to pay. When a twist of fate forces them to share the same apartment, their starkly different realities collide under one roof. Risa sees past Alice's guarded walls and falls deeply, unapologetically in love. To Alice, Risa's world is a luxury she can never afford. Haunted by her financial struggles and the gap between them, Alice believes that loving someone like Risa comes with a cost she simply cannot pay. In a world where one has everything to give and the other has everything to lose, can love truly bridge the gap? When wealth and survival collide, how much are you willing to pay for the cost of loving you?

Because love wasn't even a thought to her. People assumed she was asexual because she never dated or vocally said that she liked anyone but to her it wasn't that deep. She just honestly think she doesn't have time for it Of course, that was a given answer for someone who is a hell bent academic achiever. It was her study above all. Until it wasn't. A story that wouldn't have a beginning if she did not glanced at her direction.

A compilation of situations made completely (And sometimes partially) out of imagination. At times, that imagination is mine, other times, it's just me giving another mouth words. _______________________________ Blackpink x Reader Status: Continued Note: This book may mention certain subjects that can make the reader uncomfortable. Read with responsibility. (The book is extremely unedited and unproofread.)

Marie Antoinette Faubion never expected her exchange year in New Jersey to be easy. Between a new school, a new country, and a language she still occasionally trips over, she's counting down the days until she can go home. Natalie Scatorccio never expected to care. At Wiskayok High, everyone seems to have an opinion about Natalie-except Marie. The French exchange student doesn't know about her reputation, doesn't care about soccer, and doesn't treat her like she's already made up her mind about who Natalie is. What starts as an unlikely friendship grows into something neither of them can quite name. Natalie finds herself teaching Marie how to drive, spending afternoons translating awkward conversations, and secretly learning French just to understand what Marie says when she thinks no one is listening. As the year passes, every new word brings them closer together. Then, after Nationals, a simple ride home turns into an unexpected road trip across highways, motel rooms, and late-night conversations. When they finally get home and Marie is ready to go back to France, things take an unexpected turn of events. Because sometimes the hardest language to learn is the one that tells someone how much they mean to you.

When the newest addition to the Yellowjackets soccer team starts turning heads, Jackie Taylor isn't worried-at least, that's what she tells herself. After all, Jackie has always been the girl everyone notices. The captain. The golden girl. The one who knows exactly where she belongs. Then Elizabeth Hastings. Sweet, talented, and impossible to ignore, she quickly earns the admiration of teammates, teachers, and even Jackie's closest friends. Everywhere Jackie turns, people are talking about her. Praising her. Choosing her. What begins as a petty rivalry soon spirals into something much more complicated. Every sarcastic comment hides growing curiosity. Every argument leaves them thinking about each other long after it's over. And every attempt to outdo one another only pulls them closer together. Because beneath Jackie's jealousy is admiration she doesn't want to admit. And beneath Elizabeth's frustration is a fascination she can't quite explain. As competition turns into reluctant friendship and friendship threatens to become something neither girl is prepared for, they'll have to decide whether holding onto their pride is worth losing the person they can't stop thinking about. PROLOGUE: Exhaustion written across Irises pale, little face, small and shaking, she forced herself upright, her body freezing. A quiet sigh escaped her lips and echoed in her mind, breaking the unsettling quiet. The only noise, out here in the cold was that quiet, gentle roaring of the wind. Her chest rising slowly, unsteadily, she gazed up, her eyes half lidded. She could barely see, the dark, scary night-sky massive compared to Irises petite body. Her shoulders slumped in realisation, she was far away from her so called 'home'-- and in an awful lot of trouble. Her being caught would be a painful death sentence, more than anything else. In her twisted world, escape was nothing more than a myth. You were always caught. <her trembling hand rose to carefully brush over her cheek, and she felt exactly what she'd expected. Blood, some of it fresh and metallic, some of it had already dried. On her tongue lingered a nasty blend of the bitter blood and salty tears from before, making her feel the urge to gag. Wide eyed, her head pounding with overstimulation, her shoulders slumped. The chances of her finding safety were narrow, nicely said: It was more of an 'impossible'. - This is my first ever book so I am quite insecure and vulnerable about my writing, yet I hope that you people will like it! The prologue is rather "brutal" but I promise, the rest of the book is more of a complex, toxic love story. Please look forward to the first parts being published. :)

Two girls dream of being onstage. New York City is a breeding ground for talent, money, dreams. And unfortunately, a battleground, crawling with soldiers of poverty, sadness and lost hope. Two girls walk two different streets, heading for their dreams. Jacqueline Cassandra Crawford, daughter of Luke Crawford fashion designer extraordinaire, has all the tools she needs to become a hit singer-money, clothes, carefully crafted social media... but perhaps what she lacks is a strong voice. After discovering a girl her age singing in the subway, she knows for sure that she has to have her voice. But soon after coming upon the girl, she seems to disappear. Harley wants nothing more than to have her voice heard. Years of terrible foster homes, poverty and struggling has left her unable to see that dream come to fruition. She can't see herself doing anything more than seconds long song covers while riding up and down the subway. Fate keeps bringing the two together, and doing a bad job at keeping them like that. Though perhaps something can come of the union if they really work for it.

    # Summary + Prologue There's a certain form of hatred in my heart that can only ever be true for Marian Castillo. It was the type of hatred that reared it's head every time she was in the same place as me, that blurred into uncaring but lingering afterthoughts when she was not. It was always a persisting fire that I have fed for five years since I have met her, and a fire I have been trying to douse since for two after that. But that ever present fire has never been as fierce as it was when I first saw our names in the same table, same chart, same paper. I did not like what it meant. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Rose wants nothing more than to beat Marian in academics since she first heard of her. Marian doesn't care as long as it means Rose will keep looking at her.
