Based on a true story. Some people don't celebrate light. Some people resent it. Some people look at joy and feel the need to dim it. At first the comments were small. "You're too sensitive." "You're a little much." "You're exhausting sometimes." "You take things too personally." They said these things with laughter. With shrugs. With the casual cruelty of people who expect you to swallow their words and thank them for it. So I did. Because I thought the problem must be me. I tried to quiet myself. I sang less. I spoke less. I laughed less. The girl I once was slowly disappeared. In her place was someone smaller. Quieter. Someone who apologized for everything - even existing. I thought if I just tried harder... if I softened myself enough... if I stopped being "too much"... they would finally accept me. But you cannot shrink yourself into someone else's comfort without disappearing completely. And one day, I realized something that changed everything. I was never too much. I was just surrounded by people who couldn't handle someone who felt deeply, loved loudly, and lived fully. This is the story of how I lost myself. And how I found my voice again.

Natuto siyang mabuhay nang tahimik- by loving carefully, by not naming things too soon, by leaving before anything could hurt too deeply. Druid arrives at a new job carrying more than ambition. May dala siyang nakaraan, isang pagmamahal na nawala the moment na pinili niyang malaman ang katotohanan. Kaya nang mapansin siya ni Sam-gently, without demand-something unsettled within her. Hindi lang attraction, she felt the the fear to be seen, ang takot na maging vulnerable ulit. What they have is not a loud romance, but more often than not, silence can be so loud. Theirs lives in pauses held too long, in glances that linger, in questions almost asked and answers never given. Sam offers presence. Druid offers distance. Between them, understanding grows-quiet, careful, and tense. As family expectations tighten and old wounds surface, Druid must confront the cost of safety-of choosing silence over connection, restraint over risk. Because some loves don't end in betrayal. Some end because no one was brave enough to reach. Will Druid have courage enough to face and confront her past to make space to her present? This is a story about quiet longing, about the things we protect ourselves from, and about how sometimes the most devastating loss isn't what was taken-but what was never claimed.

Stream of Consciousness Writing to Celebrate & Champion the KLONDIKE GOLDRUSH of The Women's Health Research Movement. Are a Publisher? Excellent. I'm ready receive the Grant Funding from Our Canadian Government. As well, I'm ready to work with a team of Researchers and Documentary Filmmakers to help me compose My Textbook On and For Neurodivergent Women. Oh, Darling, if Telefilm Canada has anything to say about it, it'll be a Knock-Out at TIFF! Health Ministers of Canada? Hi. I see we're quite good at identifying the symptoms and staying prudently reactive to "Mental Health Disorders." Fun. Just out of curiosity, is there any global interest in shifting to Proactive Solutions. Yes, Darling: I've plenty to share and with Several Decades of Life Experience to boot. No. Quite frankly, this is My Research Pilot. I've looked around at the ones available, and, everyone seems to be headstrong on data collection of what's already been done. I'd like to prove Where This Is All Going. Darling, I'm simply in the business of Sourcing for Solutions because we all want to Move Forward. Don't you? Oh! And, to be clear: I'm exceptionally devoted to Ending Violence Against Women Indefinitely. Dear Reader, Did You Know: When we end violence against women, we simultaneously end the men's loneliness epidemic. Mmhmm! And, do you know what is an Exceptionally Likely Consequence of that Scientific Venture? That's right - you guessed it! It's Solving Climate Change! Excellent! So! We're all on board. Who's house are we throwing the party at? Oh, Darling, t'would be quite the House Warming, for sure. Unlike any I've ever hosted. ...Ready For It? *** Mature Content for Adults Only* Those who are Amiable & Adaptable to Change, of course.

Discarded by society, she led a social revolution. Disgusted by war, he sought a new world. This is the true story of Victoria Woodhull and her love, James Blood. Adored by the poor, hated by the powerful, forced into hiding during their lifetimes and erased from history after death, the legend of their love lives on. It's 1869 and Victoria Woodhull has a choice to make. She can stay in an abusive marriage and continue to work as a psychic, or she can take the offer of support from handsome Civil War general James Blood and set about to turn society upside down. Victoria chooses revolution. But revolutions are expensive, and Victoria needs money. James introduces Victoria to one of the wealthiest man in America-Commodore Vanderbilt. Along with her loose and scandalous sister, Tennessee, Victoria manipulates Vanderbilt and together they conspire to crash the stock market-and profit from it. Victoria then parlays her fortune into the first female-owned brokerage firm. When her idol Susan B. Anthony publishes scandalous rumors about Victoria's past, Victoria enters into a fierce rivalry with Susan to control the women's movement. James supports Victoria's efforts despite his deep fears that she may lose more than the battle. She might lose part of herself. Victoria starts her own newspaper, testifies to Congress, and even announces her candidacy for President. But when Victoria adopts James's radical ideas and free love beliefs, she ignites new, bruising, battles with Susan B. Anthony and the powerful Reverend Henry Beecher. These skirmishes turn into an all-out war, with Victoria facing prejudice, prosecution, and imprisonment. Ultimately, Victoria and James face the hardest choice of all: the choice between their country and their love.

Can friendship save a life? Genre: Women's Fiction, Novella (abt 43k words now...) A rock-climber wants to rescue others, but must first win the battle to save herself. Can a 35 year old former EMT reveal her passion for poison in time to save herself ... from herself? 1995 Baltimore is trying for a rock-climbing para-medic turned gym teacher. Especially when hiding a death wish. When her aviator husband finds out, Nanyehi must choose between fight and flight. My 2nd practice novel... (Note: there are no sexual, violent, nor vulgar themes or scenes in this story, but Wattpad says it is Mature, I suppose due to the presence of suicidality in some of the book? Imho this is Women's Fiction, as it has a strong female protag. who saves herself and has a hopeful ending. -ShiraDest, 5 November, 12015 HE) (Started on 4 November 12015 for the 2015 November 50k word story #SuperCharged #JustWriteIt challenge. Rough Draft done 29November, Posting 2nd draft chapter by chapter now...) Update: 18 September, 12017 HE: I don't think I ever did give much backstory for any of my MCs. As for clarifying the setting, I sat down to edit for setting, and realized that my problem with this practice novel is that it was written for one particular person, which is why I had so much trouble making the place definite at the start. I also thought about Marie's entrance: I'd meant to convey that expected noises were identified, and thus less likely to set off panic.
