For Alvin Ronald Jenkins, life was nothing more than back pains and aching joints. He was ancient, indeed, nearing seventy-nine years old, with a thin white beard and glossy, cataract coated blue eyes. He was getting so old, in fact, that every night he went to bed not knowing if he would ever wake up. Yet he always remained his sensitive, caring, and beautiful self. Alvin never raised his cane in spite, or his voice in anger. During the course of his seventy-nine years of life, he treated people the only way he knew how - with kindness. - Entry for the Wonder Contest.

Kindness is what everyone in the whole world needs sometime in their lifetime. Every act of kindness grows the spirit and strengthens the soul. Loana, a 16 year old girl who had been in a car accident has caused her to make her feel that the world is nothing, but filled with unfairness and sadness, ends up meeting someone who changes her with a little kindness. #WondertheMovie

It's has 500 words. This is my entry for the contest. It's the fictional tale of a small stuffed bunny. It may not be the best or perfect, but I did put in a lot of effort. I hope you can appreciate my work. Please enjoy.

(Previously called: The Only Light) In the future, all of the world and its people reflect only black, gray, and white, save for a population, the Lights, that decreases by the years. Ellen Dawn is now the last Light to exist. She is feared by everyone around her, referred to as a Color, not a Light, and is forced on the outskirts of town, though she chooses to stay for the sake of the Normals. Lucky for her, one Normal can see past the "danger" she reflects to see who she is on the inside.

Cassiopeia Lawrence isn't like normal children. She has a rare heart condition called Pentology of Cantrell, which causes her heart to be almost outside of her body, protected by a thin layer of skin. Her first day back from Winter Break is different, but how?
