I've spent a lot of time thinking about what it truly means to call the Philippines 'HOME.' It's a place of incredible warmth and breathtaking beauty, but it also has its shadows and its struggles. I decided to put those feelings into words. My new poetry collection on Wattpad, Chosen Land, Beloved Beat , is my honest tribute to our country-capturing both the gold and the grit of our islands. Rita has moved to a small town in the middle of nowhere. She has no friends nor family to talk to, and everyone seems to avoid her. After her first day of school she ends up in front of a strange home, and Rita gets caught in events she never thought possible.

But Tristan just happened to fall in the category of those who don't have a quirk, otherwise known as the norms. Now they're in Sarin University, a place unknown to them. Je fais des rêves chelous, je les écris, je les romance, et ça part. Plus concrètement, il s'agit de réels songes confectionnés par mon cerveau tordu. J'ai commencé à les noter à 18 ans, et dans la nuit du 4 au 5 décembre 2020, je me suis dit : "Pourquoi pas en faire des histoires courtes ?". La base du rêve, les décors, personnages et actions restent comme ils me sont apparus la nuit. La seule chose qui change, c'est moi ; en temps normal je ne suis pas rêveuse lucide, je n'ai aucune idée que ce sont des rêves au moment où je les vis. Quand je les réécris, je romance donc le point de vue de la personnage : elle expérience les événements d'un air blasé, semi-lucide, l'air de se dire "C'est quoi cette merde encore ?". Elle ne sait pas nécessairement que c'est un rêve, mais elle a quand même une certaine conscience des choses - que je n'ai pas à cause de cette sensation embrumée spécifique aux rêves (les miens du moins). En somme, ce sont des nouvelles délirantes et insensées, auxquelles j'ajoute un ton exaspéré/sarcastique.

Wattpad is home to so many stories - some are terrific, others not so much. But what links them all is the opportunity presented to the author to share their work, to try their hand at creating new worlds, new people, stories, and experiences. I tried too. I can write essays on the historiography that shaped our memory of the Crusades, I can write a detailed lab report on how to find Planck's constant with a tungsten filament, but creative writing? Nope. Terrible. I get writer's block before I even think about writing. So I'm doing the next best thing. There's so many of these on Wattpad, but they truly are helpful. I'm writing a book on all the books on Wattpad that I found amazing in some way. Use this as a guide to explore new stories, new authors, new writing styles. Be immersed in personalities you've never come across before. Connect with ideas from all over the globe. This is my humble list of what I believe are the wonders of Wattpad.

I wonder what will happen, when a young Alpha and his Mate meets for the first time. Will it be love at first sight and true love or hate and wanting nothing to do with each other. This is a story about a Dragon and a Human being Mates and destined to be together. And the hard ships that comes with the relationship, will they choose to be together.
