Why must we be judged by the clothes on our back? Why must we be judged because of our differences? Why must we be judged by the way society chooses and not of our own accord? Why must we be judged because we don't believe in the the same god or religions, or be discriminated against because we prefer people of the same gender. I mean when you think of it...is it really that big of a deal. When I ask you this I'm not asking your friends, family, or the society for that matter. ... I'm asking you individually. Why must the people with only love and courage be kicked aside and hurt. Yet the people with everything and a bad personality are loved more than anyone. Nobody thinks anything will happen because nobody cares enough to stop it. That is until someone changes it....until one person takes a step forward to change the life of many. Only then will there be no more judging of this or judging of that because the kindness of one can be the kindness of many... and it all starts with this story. Amanda Wilson was a wealthy business woman who lived in New York City during the 80's. One day, she walks into a bakery, looking forward to purchase her regular order. However, she notices another customer and a cashier argue about the customer's body size. How will Wilson react to the absurd comments being attacked at the customer? Will she be a bystander or will she defend the woman?

Meet Piper. A nine year old girl with a mysterious disease that will kill her in a matter of days. All of the nurses and doctors want her to stay so they can try and cure her, but she wants to see the Grand Canyon before she dies. Beautiful people make beautiful music, but not everyone can hear it.

Mr. Yeltz asks his first period students to do something kind. Then two days after, he asks all his students, across all his classes, to write an exit paragraph. Those in first period were asked to write about their act of kindness. The students in his other classes were told to write about a nice or surprising thing that had happened to them recently and what effect it had on them. A simple set of words can change the world.

This world has limits they say. People in this universe have limited actions that have a positive outcome and decide to save them as much as they can. This gift is called "acts of kindness" and the amount one is born with can be varied on the potential they have. On the opposite side of the spectrum, there's also a chance that you are born cursed.... doomed to never feel happiness or love or ever give an act of kindness. Very few know of how to heal the cursed but there is speculation that a strong enough act of kindness would be able to heal them.....

This story tells of two men- one has money, power, and pride- the other, compassion, kindness, and humility.
