This is more of a descriptive writing piece rather than a character based story :) A young girl ventured into the woods to explore, when things suddenlydidn't seem quite so fun anymore...

Carter Foster was a girl who was constantly lost within her imagination and fairytale books, but one day she stumbled across a book which turned her entire world upside down.

In the City of Athaliah, nothing is ever quite what it seems. The Frore, a humanoid species, have taken over what remains of the Earth after the Final War of the Western civilization. Nothing remains outside the walls of the city but evil and death. Cassandra Wells lives with her father and brother at the outskirts of the City: in a large, but ugly caste called Terra, in the nasty city of Pauper. Cass does what she can to put dinner on the table, and with her mother dead, and her fat lump of a father working the factory line, it's not an easy task. However, Cass is determined that her brother, Samson, will have a much better life than she ever did. But soon, Cass' school will have the annual 'Cementum' of Terra Academy. Every boy and girl of sixteen will be tested and assigned to a new job and a new living compound. What will happen to her innocent little brother and beaten down father when she is gone? What will become of her?

An arctic wolf named Ark must survive the wilderness after being kicked out of her own pack. She had accidently lead a bear to her packs camp and no thanks to her they fought it off. The leader of her pack refused to let her stay. There are four clans of wolves. The Arctic Wolves, the Woodland Wolves, The Jungle Wolves, and the Mountian Wolves.

At nine years old, Chandler Leighamoore lives carefree on her family's homestead, chasing sprites and scheming alongside her brother, Sawyer. She's mysteriously drawn to the vicious woodlands surrounding them but is shackled by Papa's only rule: never to venture inside. Stories of vampires and werewolves have kept her curiosity in check, but when Mama and Adelaide fall deathly ill, Chandler realizes she must act quickly to save them...and it means braving the forest. Her brother tells of an ancient legend...an enchanted lake...somewhere deep in the woods. Deadset on finding a cure, Chandler embarks on a perilous journey through the Blackthorn. Encountering sprites, vampires, and a mythical goddess, Chandler will need to conquer her greatest fears to save her family before it's too late.

Body parts growing down in the local woods, scary encounters in a deserted escape pod, something odd lurking in the ocean at Dulgots Trench, aliens who have no feet......further tales of the unexpected. A sequel to Setting Suns-a collection of short sci-fi stories. Two of the first seven stories are a couple of my favourites from the original collection. I'll be adding more as time goes by. A usual it's lucky dip, some sweet, some sour and some downright strange !

A group of four friends go on a hunt for a murder victims body. The friends soon became the victims themselves, when they enter the wood ground of an unkind woodsman. ; I wrote this story for my 7th grade English class, which was almost 7 years ago ? This is my first story that I have actually finished... Anyways, Enjoy what middle school me thought was downright amazing.
