A tight-knit group of friends from Toronto piles into a couple of vans for a long, scenic drive north into the remote wilderness of northern Ontario/Canada. The goal: film a multi-day camping video for **Elizabeth Davis**' small but passionate YouTube channel. Elizabeth is known for *real* exploration content - no staged drama, no fake evidence, no clickbait monsters. Just authentic wilderness trips, survival tips, and genuine vibes.
Unfortunately, her channel struggles. Viewers and the algorithm favor flashy "ghost hunters" and fake cryptid channels that manufacture scares. This trip is her attempt at a big comeback video: "48 Hours in Wendigo Territory - Real Canadian Wilderness."
The group is excited - bonfires, stargazing, drone shots, group challenges, and plenty of banter for the vlog. Marco (Elizabeth's dad and experienced outdoorsman) is along as the main cameraman, keeping things professional and safe. For the first day and night, everything feels perfect: beautiful forest, crisp air, laughs, and solid footage.
Then... it wasn't.
One by one, the friends start disappearing or turning up brutally slaughtered in ways that echo the old Algonquian **Wendigo** legends - emaciated, antlered horror that mimics voices, hungers endlessly, and drives people to cannibalism. Paranoia sets in fast, especially once they realize the killer is one of them... wearing a meticulously crafted Wendigo costume.
