If you also enjoy all things My Hero. You'll really like this one! It's a story that takes place, before Characters like Izuku are even born. And no. It's not some wanna be Deku MC clone knock off story. It's much more than that. I went about it differently than most, I've read a lot of MHA stories on Wattpad, and I assure you; this one is different. It takes place before Nagant's Arrest and before the Vigilante's series and in a sense, kind of is a standalone story from the OG MHA. The story follows Kaina Tsutsumi, better known as Lady Nagant. In her early early twenties. And a little boy whose life, had a rocky start, due to a terrible incident, caused by a quirk manifesting, without proper training. This story primarily follows Nagant at the start, how one small incident, one small change in someone's past, can change their entire future. As we know her, she killed the safety Commission president. But in this story, because of what started out as something small, like rescuing a little toddler. Well... You'll just have to read and find out

Everyone in the town of Ashwood had heard the stories. For generations, whispers of a Beast in the woods echoed through quiet kitchens and over flickering campfires. It was said to prowl the dense forest that circled the town like a watchful wall. No one had ever seen its face-only its outline. A hulking silhouette, barely distinguishable from the darkness itself, always watching, always just out of reach. Sometimes it appeared under the light of a full moon, lingering at the edge of vision before vanishing again for years. And when it returned, it brought a hush with it. Birds would fall silent. Dogs would cower. Shadows seemed to grow longer, colder. Most of Ashwood scoffed at the legends now. They called it a ghost story for children, a tale told to keep teenagers from wandering too far. But the ones who knew better-the ones who had seen the shadow moving between the trees-felt the truth in their bones. The Beast was real. And whatever it was waiting for, it was coming closer. But Zoey knew, he was coming for her. Romance Fantasy Novel A book full of romance, secrets, prophecies and much more!!

When veteran Bronx homicide detective Fatima Wilson receives a panicked 3:00 AM call from her Aunt Thelma, she learns that her cousin Naomi, a bright Georgia Tech engineering student, has vanished without a trace. Abandoning the asphalt of New York, Fatima boards the first flight to Atlanta, expecting standard police protocol. Instead, she steps into a nightmare: Naomi is the sixth female student to vanish from the Georgia Tech campus in the span of five months, leaving local law enforcement stymied. On the ground, Fatima partners with senior Atlanta detective Zach Taylor, a weary cop desperate for a breakthrough. Yet Zach's partner, Detective Maximous Clark, treats the investigation with a chilling, calculated apathy that immediately sets off Fatima's internal alarms. As Fatima digs deeper into campus security logs and local underground networks, she discovers that Maximous is not merely indifferent-he is actively burying evidence, harboring a dark web of corruption that ties directly to the disappearances. High in the secluded foothills of the Georgia mountains, deep inside a reinforced underground bunker engineered to bypass thermal imaging and police radar, the kidnapped students are held captive. Their captor is Zeus Craig, a methodical serial killer operating with terrifying precision. But Zeus is not working alone; an anonymous, high-ranking mastermind is bankrolling the operation, supplying inside campus schedules, and manipulating the Atlanta Police Department from the inside out. As the clock ticks down toward zero, Fatima and Zach race through a labyrinth of institutional cover-ups, betrayal, and psychological warfare. With every twist unraveling a deadlier layer of deceit, Fatima must outwit a corrupt detective, decode the madman's architectural trap, and unmask a secret partner whose true identity shatters everything she thought she knew about justice.

In the woods of Oakridge, hikers are disappearing left and right―even more so than usual. After much careful deducing, Evan Novak is positive that the locations where the vanishings occur follow a pattern, but when he sets out one night to see for himself, he doesn't return from those woods. The last thing he does before seemingly blipping from existence is send a garbled voicemail to his best friend-his emergency contact. Day Jha wants to get through high school with minimal mayhem. From elementary school, he's been a wallflower, blending in with the crowd-and he prefers it that way. In a town like Oakridge, where strange things are the norm, Day prides himself on being truly mundane. But when his best friend goes missing, and his only lead is a voicemail with nary a voice, the beginning of his freshman year is made up of poking into the odd history of his small town and unearthing disconcerting instances from its places, its people, and even himself. Day wants to be a typical high schooler. He wants to be on the swim team, even if one of its co-captains has a big head. He wants to go out with the new girl, Artie. He wants to slip by as he had in middle school―but mostly, he wants to do all that with his best friend by his side. But where on Earth is Evan, and what really is lurking in those woods? There's only one thing to do: see for himself. They're just trees; it's not like the legends, the tales, the monsters that have always surrounded their town are real, right? Something is watching the children of Deadwood Hollow. Fourteen-year-old Eric Winslow thought the disappearances were just another horrible thing happening in his tiny Maine town. Then something appeared outside his bedroom window. A white face. A black figure. A bloodstained glove. And it wanted him to follow it into the woods. As more children disappear, Eric and his friends Lucy Black-the relentlessly curious daughter of a local detective-and guarded, sharp-tongued Louis Stevenson begin searching for answers of their own. The police believe they're hunting a killer. The kids believe it's something else. Because killers don't vanish between the trees. Killers don't appear outside locked windows in the middle of the night. And killers certainly don't disappear into thin air. Whatever lives in the woods has been watching Deadwood Hollow for a long time. Now it's watching Eric. And every night, it gets a little closer. Welcome to Deadwood Hollow. Whatever you do, don't follow it into the woods.

"A famous killer once said, and this has remained my favorite quote since forever - " he began tonelessly, a slight smirk slowly filling his lower jaw. He moved a few steps forward, crouching down on his knees in front of her. "Never trust a chained captive. Now I know why." He nodded to himself, seeming to have an epiphany. Although, the smirk left, replaced by indifference. "That escape you pulled was fruitless, and I hope you know that. I am your captor. You can't and won't get away; not if I don't wish you to." A normal day for two coworkers turns into a fight for survival. Unaware of the bank being robbed, they entered; only to fall victim to an unfortunate circumstance. Taken hostage, they must find a way to survive and escape. Can they outsmart the men who have never been caught?

I wanted to escape my old life - enough to convince my dad to take me to a cabin buried deep in the woods. I thought it would be quiet. Healing. A place where nothing could reach us. But Shadow Hollow wasn't peaceful. It was waiting. The cabin felt perfect at first... until an ominous note appeared at our door, written by something that knew we were there. Something patient. Something hungry. Then I found a girl unconscious in the woods - beautiful, terrified, and marked by something I couldn't name. I didn't know who she was or how she ended up here. But the moment I saw her, something inside me refused to leave her behind. That's when the shadows started moving. Figures watching us from the treeline. A shapeshifter slipping between forms. A presence that didn't just stalk - it selected. We tried to leave the cabin. We tried to leave Shadow Hollow. But the forest didn't let us go. Because the creature wasn't hunting us by accident. It had already chosen what it wanted next.

Five friends. Three days. No cell service. What was supposed to be a three-hour drive turned into a endless trek deep into the forgotten woods. For Daniel, Emma, Sarah, Lucas, and me, a weekend at an isolated cabin meant total freedom-no parents, no responsibilities, and no rules. But the forest was far from empty. It started with a shadow between the trees on the drive in. Then came the strange light flickering through the midnight blackness. We tried to laugh it off, locking the heavy front door and hiding behind the safety of old wood and cheerful memories. Then, at exactly 3:00 AM, the knocking started. Knock... knock... knock. Standing in the pitch-black living room, staring at the empty porch, a voice finally called out from the dark, cold night: "Please help me..." Some doors should never be opened.

"What makes you think you can just pop in and rip apart my boyfriend?!" A guttural growl tore through him, he clenched his fists so hard I thought I saw veins, I was honestly afraid and that was unusual, the last time he growled at me was when I first met him, and he didn't even know me then! "NO!" he shouted and I swear I jumped five feet in the air, I was not expecting that! "O-ok, Lucas, calm down" I backed away a tiny step, afraid of the man I never thought I'd be afraid of. But I didn't even get to step half way back before he gripped my waist with his large hand and tugged me into him, his mouth immediately went to my neck and I stiffened, not sure If I wanted him to bite me or not, was I ready for this? "You're mine!" he growled, and just that single sentence was all it took for me. I wanted him. *** Tilly Stevens has had enough of her boring and monotonous life in the city, so she moves to the complete opposite, with her grandma deep in the woods.
