Being a midwife in 1801 colonial America had equipped Lane with little more than a pair of silver scissors she had inherited from her grandmother and a set of clean linens prepared and folded just for the occasion of birth. Should she need more in the way of equipment she wouldn't know what it would have been, since 18th century midwifery held the woman's hands and spirit in highest regard. Her horse had been given to her, unbroken, as a gift for the safe delivery of twins a county over. She had lived with the family in anticipation of the delivery for three weeks, and while she had suspected twins she was wholly surprised to see a pair of hands reaching into the light after the first baby boy had been born. Payment was rare if you only counted coins, otherwise she had no fear of going hungry or living in the streets. Along with the silver scissors she had inherited her Grandma's cabin a bit outside of town, and though young enough for marriage, not many suitors considered her suitable. Something had been odd about Lane since the day of her birth, and she and everyone else in the county had known it. Being a midwife only compounded the fact.

This short story is what I thought happened when the woodsman from OTGW arrived in "The Unknown".

Your tricks might work with other people, but not me." The tension between them got ten times worse when he felt her shiver underneath his body. Spending most of his life as a woodcutter to make ends meet for his family, Christopher did not expect to be knocking down a faery house in his lifetime since they were supposed to be a myth. The faery isn't too happy about her house being gone, now that her house is in pieces, Christopher has to give her a home until he can find her a new one, where no one will cut it down like he did.

Down deep in the midst of mystery and wonder lies a place few have seen. A place where frogs sing reveries of beauty and lost pilgrims. A place where children go to play and wayward souls go to wander. A mysterious place, called the Unknown. Where long-forgotten wishes wipe away canon endings and bring forth better, darker and more emotional adventures than ever before.

I followed the breadcrumbs but we're somewhere else now," I heard from the boy. However, they weren't lost. They were back at the place they started. The cottage was now a gingerbread house with sugary treats. It was transformed by a blind witch. (PLEASE read the blood moon first!:) So when a Woodsman (aka a creature kinda like a elf) is feeling happy/good from saving a girl in The blood moon his friend (Woodsman are not normally happy) does not like him anymore so he wants to be a human...I am not telling anymore enjoy!:)

I'm kinda new to Wattpad and when I saw that there was so little of these stories I thought I should have a go and make my own story! (Also don't mind the cover I had no ideas 😅) Topic: With Jesper now staying in Smeerensberg everything is staying safe and peaceful!
