Being a midwife in 1801 colonial America had equipped Lane with little more than a pair of silver scissors she had inherited from her grandmother and a set of clean linens prepared and folded just for the occasion of birth. Should she need more in the way of equipment she wouldn't know what it would have been, since 18th century midwifery held the woman's hands and spirit in highest regard. Her horse had been given to her, unbroken, as a gift for the safe delivery of twins a county over. She had lived with the family in anticipation of the delivery for three weeks, and while she had suspected twins she was wholly surprised to see a pair of hands reaching into the light after the first baby boy had been born. Payment was rare if you only counted coins, otherwise she had no fear of going hungry or living in the streets. Along with the silver scissors she had inherited her Grandma's cabin a bit outside of town, and though young enough for marriage, not many suitors considered her suitable. Something had been odd about Lane since the day of her birth, and she and everyone else in the county had known it. Being a midwife only compounded the fact.

How different could it be if Wirt and Greg's ages were swapped? They travel through the Unknown lost and scared trying to find out how to come back home. Without anyone to help, care, and love the brothers on their long and excruciatingly painful journey. And for some reason, little Wirt has a feeling that this adventure is going to change his life forever. (BTW i drew the cover)

Spending most of his life as a woodcutter to make ends meet for his family, Christopher did not expect to be knocking down a faery house in his lifetime since they were supposed to be a myth. The faery isn't too happy about her house being gone, now that her house is in pieces, Christopher has to give her a home until he can find her a new one, where no one will cut it down like he did.

One day, I saw two meek children, too small for their own good travel into the forest, holding only a basket with bread crumbs. They returned back to where they had started their journey. Only it was different. They traveled in a full circle, only the building they returned to was different somehow. "Look sis! We're lost! I followed the breadcrumbs but we're somewhere else now," I heard from the boy. However, they weren't lost. They were back at the place they started. The cottage was now a gingerbread house with sugary treats. It was transformed by a blind witch. Only around these parts, I know her as Stepmother Gerta... ~~~~ I in no way own Hanzel & Gretel, this is just my spin on it!

I'm kinda new to Wattpad and when I saw that there was so little of these stories I thought I should have a go and make my own story! (Also don't mind the cover I had no ideas 😅) Topic: With Jesper now staying in Smeerensberg everything is staying safe and peaceful! The police came to the graveyard. They tried to get away from the cop. Sara and her friends, including Wirt and Greg got separated. One day later, Sara has gone missing. Turned into foul creatures that seek nothing but sin. Lust, greed, pride, envy, gluttony, sloth, wrath. Each one would change depending on what corrupted them. Now, there are two sides: Warlocks and Witches are dangerous, and their existence is a threat to humanity's safety. Warlocks and Witches do not choose their way- and perhaps, the only way to stop the problem, is to embrace it. Journey with a young boy, Gabriel, who is in the Woodsmen. He hunts down these fiends- these Witches and Warlocks- but... discovers something odd. Perhaps... they're not all as bad as they seem.

In the shadows of the woods and over the garden wall lies The Unknown, and within The Unknown two sisters try to get back home after finding themselves lost among the many fables and monsters that they encounter on their journey through the woods. Stella, the oldest, longs to stay with the darkness and sorrow that welcomes her more than she ever felt welcomed in her own family. Nora, the youngest, only wants to see her sister smile and love again and get back home where she can fix her broken family. On their way home, Nora gets lost and Stella ventures out to find her little sister, but before she can search the woods she finds herself face to face with a person that left her life over a year ago. Stella, with a choice to make, must decide whether to stay with The Beast and his friend and leave her sister to become the woods around her, or go home where she wishes to leave her life behind.
