a strange way to fall in love , but love does what love wants to do

One day, you go on a walk in the huge forest behind your house and you decide to go farther than usual. As you walk, fog starts to spill from the trees and emerge from the ground. You become lightheaded, and your head starts to sway, and eventually, you fall to the ground. You gain your composure after a minute, but after you stand back up, you realize something feels off. The trees look fuzzy, and the sky is grey. You're not in your world anymore. You can't tell how far you've gone because you didn't think to bring any compass, map, anything! You open your phone, but...all your apps are gone. All your numbers, pictures, everything is gone! What has happened?

I knew it was you. For some odd reason we always seemed to find each other at the perfect moment. I've always believed in having an afterlife. I've always thought it was rather rediculous that someone would spend time on this planet for such a short time, then just disappear. Never to return and continue what they started. I'm not religious. I do not believe in a god, and I do not follow any sort of belief system. I just believe in the afterlife. Of course, it was just a head canon of mine that the afterlife even existed. I thought it existed, but somewhere in the back of my strange, teenage mind I knew that after death, there would be nothing. Damn, was I wrong.
