Atarah's life began the moment her family left her to die, bleeding to death in the middle of the desert. Her parents cut off her wings and listened to her cries as they disappeared without so much as a second glance at her. Now, after being saved by the people she was raised to believe were monsters, she finds herself weeks away from becoming the Queen and marrying a man who she was born an enemy to. But as the crown falls upon her head she finds herself in the middle of a war, and the battle lines aren't as clear as they once seemed. What happens when a werewolf named Lincoln makes her question who she is and finds he hides secrets about her past that could ultimately destroy all she knows? Will she change or wipe out the people who left her for dead all those years ago?
