Have ever got stuck on a plot, a word, a scene or a story so much that you can't move forward? We as writers, believe everyone has been through that "phase". To counteract that stage and to boost our writing community(and the writer in us), we all need a boost, a push to keep at it. Keeping in mind, every Sunday, NewlyWrittenBooks are going to publish a writer's empowerment quote from writers across the world, to spark the writing bug within you. Cover made by the amazingly gifted @druidoflore :)

a collection of poems stitched together with girlhood, aching hearts, silent battles, soft rage, love that lingered too long, and feelings too heavy to say out loud. these poems are for the girls who overthink at 2am, romanticize the rain, carry entire oceans inside their chests, and learn to survive while still remaining soft. this is not just poetry- it is growing up, breaking quietly, healing slowly, and becoming someone new between the lines.

"These are the words I wished the world to hear. The words that turned into a burden, that I could no longer bare to hide. The words that I wanted to say to myself, but too afraid to accept it".

A collection of poems that had the potential to be loved, yet remained unnoticed. Poets don't just write - they bleed, piece by piece, into the paper. They breathe life into words and call it poetry. Writing is filled with what-ifs, maybes, and endless confusion. Yet a poet continues - to write, to bleed, to stay honest. Poets are known for writing about love, but in truth, they write what they secretly crave - and when asked why, they learn to lie. This book is a place where overthinkers can breathe, where tired minds can rest, and where those carrying too much can finally pause.

Thoughts I wrote down, maybe they'll give you some comfort? "But I feel something deeper. Beneath the fear, there is a fire inside of me, one I cannot extinguish. It burns with the pain and the rage of all the women who came before me. " PS. If you are to use one of my quotes, give credit!

Most people have walls around them. Some even fences. They say it's a problem, but it might actually be a blessing. Many people try so hard to bring their walls down because people say it stops them from relating, but look what relating does to Aramide. Look at what having no walls has done to her. She only wished for two things in life. 1 To be rich, wealthy or at least have a sense of importance. 2 To have walls. This wish was newly developed, but you can't blame her. "Things will get better." ••••• "Yeah, sometimes I wish I could take my own advise" Being broken over and over by the people you've taught your heart to trust isn't such a healthy thing is it ? Can she face it ? Will she get her walls? Will they help her or will they prevent her from opening up to the people who'll help her heal? Will she ever trust again? Join Mide on the wild ride called her life.
