My brother dies unexpectedly. Returning one year later after death he somehow became a god. He grants wishes to those who ask. I find out I already had my power, I just needed help focusing it or more specifically my flame. I team up with a few others, we try to protect the world from my brother and a group of other powered individuals. We get told that we can't fail but can lose, odd at first but when we don't stay dead we start to understand. We collect items known as the Artifacts, items which contain great powers that either enhance ours or give us new ones. We fight to protect the world, through bloody conflict and magical warfare, sadly the only way to beat a god is to overpower them which means becoming a god. If my brother can do it, how hard can it be?

This isn't really a story its more like of what I would like to change from the world.
