The year is 1936. It has been five years since the Big Bright Bombings ended the Great War of 1914 and set the world ablaze. It has been five years since the Union established Victory Shelters to protect its populace. A lone person, a VICTORY ANGEL from Victory Shelter 126 leaves for the Surface and discovers a strange and violent land in the wake of the World After. The Union of the World Before is nowhere to be found, and anarchy rules the streets. The future of the Union and of the surviving World relies on this ANGEL, and it is unknown whether they will rise to the Need of The People and establish Peace for all for all time. This is my first work and the first Act of THE UNION SPLIT series. Criticism welcome.

This story is written from the events leading up to WWI, WWI itself, and the wars aftermath. If you are uncomfortable with that subject, this story is not for you. Do not read it. Story will be written in the German Empire's perspective, mmmmaybe third person if I feel like it Aaaand Some chapters are written in diary entry format, some are not, depends if I do wanna switch to third person at some point You've been warned.

Billy Kimber plans to reach out his greedy arms and increase his deals within the racing industry, he commands bookies and his gang keeps others in check. Alfie Solomons regards this as a challenge and seeks out the help of some Brummie contacts. - This is something completely new for me so would love some feedback, critique or anything ( dont be afraid to be harsh c: ) if anyone is kind enough to do so, thank you.
