Trees flew by Alex as he bounced up and down on his seat, the potholes on the road more prominent than the road itself. He had finally finished his training and was now war ready. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, Alex couldn't help but to grin. Since his mother was dead and his father couldn't care less, Alex had signed up to join the war. But, Alex had lied about his age. He wasn't eighteen but had only just turned fifteen two months previous. Alex was desperate for adventure though and he felt that the only way he could be useful was to join in on the war effort. There's one thing that nobody knows about Alex though and that is he does not feel anything sexual or romantic towards women or girls his age. The boys his age and men though are another story. This is one secret that really is life or death and not nearly as serious as him lying about his age. Not even his friends Manuel and Tommy know. Especially Tommy, the boy who he has loved since they were ten years old. (All songs linked to each chapter are actual stories told in the form of song. They all occurred in the year 1943. For chapter four, the story of the song there is mentioned. This story is not super historically accurate.)

Liesl escaped Germany with her mother before her teenage years due to her father, a man in charge and the coming future. After all, German Jews were very much at risk, as were all who shared the same beliefs. The young girl meets two boys who become more important to her than she at first knows. Two fall in love and two become fast friends. But fate and family are cruel foes and horror and atrocity have a way of showing their true face when one least expects. (Pardon if the language isn't completely accurate) [Book One of The Glorious Heroes series] *I don't own Marvel. All credit goes to Stand Lee and the creators. I only own Liesl and Marta and the former's story*

Old feuds, new worlds, and a love that will last a lifetime... Ever since her dad mysteriously abandoned her family, life on the Clifton Estate hasn't been all that exciting for 16-year-old Marla True. Her Mum constantly works to make ends meet, which means Marla has to put up with gossipy old Bev keeping an eye on her and noisy little half-sister Ribbon. If that wasn't bad enough, her exam results are in... and they aren't good. But at least she has her friends. Asher, the responsible and strong boy who has known her all her life and Ed, the orphaned rebel who loves to stir up trouble. Then there's her, Marla, stubborn, fiery and just plain lost. Life on the estate is same-old same-old, until the senile World War Two veteran, Mr. Pelham, starts freaking Marla out with his staring and rambling, cryptic messages. Is he trying to warn her? Or hurt her? When the bored trio decide to teach the creepy old man it's rude to scare young girls, they learn far too late just how crucial it is to respect your elders. For his daughter, Bridget, has a power unlike anything they've ever seen before and she uses her deadly craft to send them to a place that will teach them the lesson of their lifetime. Bridget has sent them back in time, all the way to World War Two, throwing them into a secret fight for the survival of all magical folk in the world. Marla soon learns what it really means to be a True, and the power her absent father has kept from her all her life... Marla, Ed and Asher are thrown into a world they and their generation have no comprehension of, a world where love is a relic of a life left behind and your only duty is sacrificing all that you have. These three friends are about to learn about a side of World War Two that never made the history books. ***I can't take credit for the artwork, it's called A BREAK IN REALITY and it's by the AMAZINGLY talented Xenobyte on deviantart. In 1943 Steven Grant Rogers was enlisted to the United States Army. Everyone knows the righteous, patriotic Captain America and his story. People might have heard of his mother, Sara, who was a nurse and died of tuberculosis. Perhaps some have even heard of his father Joseph who had died of mustard gas while in the army. But the world is oblivious to another Rogers, the one who was left behind in the story of Captain America. The one who struggled to keep up with his big brother and his great friend. The one who was left with empty house, dead parents and ghost of a memory of a happy family. The same year Steve became a supersoldier, William decided to sneak himself into the army. Like Steve, he felt the need to fight for his country, fight for those who can't, fight for his parents, fight for Steve. He was too young to be allowed there, barely fifteen, he had the advantage of looking like a youthful eighteen year old. In the times of war, chaos, grief and dying love, no one had time to pay attention to underage soldiers, such as William Rogers. THE WAR BOYS SERIES BOOK I MARVEL AU !NOT HISTORICALLY CORRECT!
