Kristian Bauer was raised on his grandfather's stories of honor and war, tales where the Waffen-SS were just soldiers and the past was something to be proud of. Then a freak storm sends him hurtling back to 1941, WW2 Germany. Fluent in German and trained to shoot, Kristian quickly adapts. Too quickly. He finds friendship, love... and enlistment. Now trapped in one of the most feared divisions of the SS, Das Reich, he must survive brutality, betrayal by the one person he trusted completely, and his own unraveling conscience...all with the knowledge of how the war ends...and what happens to members of the SS. The only light in Kristian's life is Lorelei, the woman who loves him and waits for his return. The one person who sees him for who he was, and not what the Reich demanded he become. The woman carrying his bloodline. Despite everything, Kristian believes his foreknowledge will save him. Even when he's captured and sent to the hellish Rhine Meadow POW camp, he thinks he can outsmart his enemy. But one small mistake and a sadistic Allied captain will determine Kristian's ultimate fate.

Gracie Spaatz wanted just two things out of going to England-she wanted to get hitched as quickly as possible and be someone's wife, and she wanted to become an actress. Her father, General Spaatz, had other plans for her and sent her off to a women's college during the war. Visiting Thorpe Abbotts to see her sister Tatty always seemed like a good idea. The last thing that she expected was to come into contact with one John Brady-all whilst she was crying over her math homework. For her, it was love at first sight and she knew what she wanted. Enter their love letters and relationship in times of war and how they find their way back to one another through it all. Note that this is the first of an anthology.

An enchanting, thrilling, and eventful story in the future. The year is 2145. World War II happens in the 2090s, advanced technologies and nuclear weapons are thrown across our planet of origin. Facing the zombies and opposing groups, Willow and Blaze must work together to fix their broken world. A old group story wrote which won an award, figured I'd dump it here. RESPECTFUL AND CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM IS APPRECIATED (It might be a bit stupid, it was for school jsyk)

Seventeen-year-old Fritz Müller has already lost everything that mattered long before time itself betrays him. Raised in the forests of Bavaria by the grandfather who taught him how to hunt, track, and survive, Fritz never had much use for the wealthy, distant parents who abandoned him to build their glittering lives in Berlin. When his grandfather dies, Fritz is dragged back to a city he hates and a family he barely knows. Grieving, angry, and utterly alone, he finds himself thrown into the impossible. One moment, he is sorting through his grandfather's belongings. The next, he is stranded in the frozen forests of Russia in the dead of winter, 1942. Alone, unarmed, and hunted by Soviet patrols, Fritz has only the survival skills his grandfather drilled into him to keep from freezing or starving to death. But surviving the wilderness is only the beginning. Rescued by a German infantry squad fighting on the Eastern Front, he is forced into a brutal new reality where every lesson he ever learned is tested in blood. And somewhere ahead lies a truth far worse than death: The mission that will destroy the men he comes to call family was ordered and set in motion by German command...by someone he loves most. His grandfather.

*Highest rank #1 on the Hebrew Site, 24/04/17* True story. I heard the story of Miriam many years ago in an interview that would probably have been lost in history, but from the first moment I knew it had to be written. I could not let it go. So, under the influence of Anne Frank's diary, I travelled around 80 years back in time to write a diary from Miriam's point of view as a child. I decided to publish the diary because it was the promise I had given her, in the hope that it was never really too late...to live only among the words left behind. ~~~ Feel free to comment and ask Q. This story is being translated from Hebrew, my native language, so forgive me for any grammar mistake (If you notice any, I would like to know!)❤️

❝ In the age of modernity, ruled by kings who viewed themselves chosen by God, what difference do these humans have with Representations as of ourselves? ❞ ━━ (Denmark-)Norway (1789). Prosoponologi (in Dano-Norwegian). p. 1. THE GLORIOUS AGE 1789-1914 As though a great change is foretold, it all started when the daughter committed patricidal regicide. Followed by the becoming of the revolutionary, the balance of power in Europe is more fragile than ever, and one push is all it takes to shatter. Once tranquility has been disrupted, two distinct beliefs clash for dominance, and the victory of one brings the inception of a new age. THE GRIM AGE 1914-1991 Perhaps it was clear to many how this war would bring an end to their imperial overlords, but not themselves. Though when the time for their fall comes, not one soul knew that in just twenty years, the world would descend to a war greater than the one before. And as the war inches closer to its end, gaining the ability to destroy themselves, the chances of humanity's extinction seem to be ever more likely. ╞═════✵═════╡ A historical countryhumans alternate universe based on the years of 1789 until 1991. Due to the reason above, this book would contain heavy topics which would be listed on the beginning of the book. Viewer discretion is advised. Cover art made by hualiyusheng23925 on Lofter. Available to read only on AO3 and Wattpad.

NOTE: Please see newer versions on my page This is a collection of short stories and backstories for my work-in-progress war novel, Scars of Freedom. Here, you'll find out more about the main characters of Scars of Freedom, and what keeps their humanity alive in the face of war. Judgement: This is the backstory for my work-in-progress war novel, Scars of Freedom, and follows one of the main characters Lawrence Belitz as he navigates his childhood in the Lower East Side, NYC, as an illegitimate child. Fitting In: Ben O'Malley has always been different but he's never understood what that actually means. He is talkative and longs for genuine connection, but this 'code of brotherhood' evident to other guys has never made sense to him. This is the story of him learning that there is a place for him in this world. Scars of Freedom: It is 1943 and the world is engulfed in flames. Driven, passionate, and idealistically patriotic, 17-year-old Lawrie Belitz is not just an outcast but a promising, talented writer living in Manhattan. Tired of being seen as a loser and eager to take up arms to serve his country, he and his friends Ben O'Malley and Stan Carter join the U.S. Army together. PFCs Evan Levy, John Fortier, Sam the medic, Lt. Artie Woods, Sergeant Walker, as well as Lawrie and his pals Ben and Stan, become the members of 1st Squad, 1st Platoon, Able Company. Lawrie, once outcast and bullied, proves himself to be a capable soldier and leader, earning him respect in Able Company. Soon enough, Lawrie and his squad embark on what is now known as D-Day and they see the brutality unfold on Omaha Beach. As he and his fellow soldiers push deeper into Nazi-occupied Normandy, he soon begins to long for the ease of youthfulness. He fights not only to protect freedom as he knows it, but to preserve what's left of his humanity.

Harry Styles has always the odd one out, especially as a British boy in Nazi Germany, particularly in 1938. Stumbling through life confused and alone, when everything changes on a cool, March night. Louis Tomlinson is a Jewish boy, who is also British, a not so good combination for the time period. As Harry's resentment turns into something else, the world turns into a dangerous place, especially for Harry and Louis.
