Being a student in the most famous engineering college available in her locality; the early morning alarms, Tongo's bark, the newspaper and the milk on her doorstep, Mrs. Avra's charming song was the most usual morning rushes in the Avra family. She wouldn't have wondered, not even in her wildest dreams that one curious question that ran into her would change her busy life , at least for a few mesmerizing years. What was that question, you may ask? Well... WHAT IF EARTH WAS THE OTHER WAY...?

A new species has emerged. One with powers. The most common powers were strenght and speed and agility. But there were others that could fly and move things with their mind and so on, but they were rare. Many argue as to where they came from. Religious say they are demons and angels sent by God. Scientist say evolution, conspiracy theorists say they where created or are aliens or created by them. No matter who was right, they were called Unhumans by the media. Although there were other less flattering names that some called them. In the year 2434 one of the Unhumans is accidentally thrown through space and time back to our present time. In a strange world he knows nothing about. Here he is alone. But there maybe someone there that could give him a purpose again. A reason. And even hope. A life that he could never even dream of before. This is his story.

Every year, on the same date and at the exact same time, a massive wormhole opens somewhere in the sky. It doesn't destroy buildings or landscapes-it pulls people. Only people. No one knows why some are taken and others aren't. Society has adapted. Preparation is law. Panic is expected. Grief is scheduled.

It was August, 1963. But then it wasn't. In 2018, an all female psychobilly band from Dublin bump into four young men who claim to be some of the most influential musicians ever, but from a time some fifty five years beforehand. --------------------------------------------- The soundtrack/playlist for this story is mainly compiled of psychobilly bands and The Beatles, as well as some rockabilly, swing, rock and goth-rock. Although I'm aware that this particular niche of music isn't everyone's cup of tea, I'd encourage anyone reading to give each song a listen as they read, as there will be references to the music in some chapters. There's also one song mentioned near the start that wasn't written until mid 1964 but I love it too much to swap it for something actually historically accurate. Speaking of references; this story is nearly entirely based in modern-day Dublin (Ireland), so just ignore all the street names and landmarks listed if it's confusing (I won't be offended I swear). Speaking of swearing; there is swearing and the odd sexual reference and the odd reference to gore and/or violence, nothing too graphic though, this is just a stupid fanfiction afterall.

The story is set on post-apocalyptic Earth. A hundred years ago, the "X virus" broke out. Transmitted through liquids and gases, it had an extremely high mortality rate and quickly infected nearly all life on Earth. The human population plummeted from 7 billion to 3 billion, but those who survived discovered their bodies evolving, becoming faster, taller, and stronger. Tragically, animals also began to evolve, becoming even more powerful than humans. Bullets couldn't penetrate their armor, and even nuclear bombs couldn't threaten high-level monsters. With modern technology practically useless, warriors rose to prominence. Through training, these warriors mastered immense powers, allowing them to battle monsters tens or even hundreds of feet tall. Humanity lost all its oceans and islands, including Australia. Ultimately, only five nations remained: these five great powers formed humanity's 23 base cities. Decades passed, and it wasn't until the rise of the protagonist, Zorro, that the balance between humanity and monsters was finally broken.
