Everyone says "It can't happen to me." Even Maya Hawthorne thought that. But it did, it happened to her. She was trapped under beautiful lies, she never saw it coming. She never would have thought that this is how it was going to turn out. But neither did he. He never thought that what he's been doing was wrong. He never knew that he was capable of loving something other than the feeling he gets when the cocaine ripples throughout his lungs. He never knew the extent he would go to find her. A girl who's been adopted turns 18 today as she was left in front of an orphanage at a very young age. She was born without a reproductive system which doctors can not explain. Its a big mystery. Shes not just a normal girl, shes something different. When she is about to find important information about her life, James is murdered. She finds a note. Wait, Is she an Alien?

I don't know exactly all I'm gonna talk about here, I had started out talking about things I thought people wouldn't know, but then I realized that some people might take it offensively so I'm changing it up.

These are some poems I wrote. I started about a year ago. I wrote them in a very difficult period of my life that was very overwhelming and in which I worried a lot. Please be nice, I know they might not be the best, and I'm open to feedback, but the poems are very personal so please no hate :) Please also beware that some of the poems might discuss some darker themes, such as mentionings of blood, self-harm and/or suicide, these were not written to shock people so they shouldn't be too frightening, but if you're very sensitive to that kind of stuff or if that could be triggering, please keep that in mind before starting to read.
