You want the best for those you love. When you are living at less than your best, do you remove yourself from their presence for not meeting the standard requirement?

"So, uh.." He pauses for a minute. Looking down he snaps his fingers repetitively. "Emilia," I respond. "Last name," he demands, still holding his head down. "West." "Oh, we're changing that." He snaps his fingers one final time before walking past me and out the door. ----------------------- Emilia West descends from a wealthy family. Xavier Torres, her long term enemy, just became mafia don. However, in order to claim the title completely his mafia needs a secure alliance. Preferably a family that can pull strings in times of need. Both families being well respected, Xavier's father and Emilia's mother have come to a decision. An arranged marriage. But what happens when you don't know that your future husband is a mafia don? And what happens when you don't know that your future wife is on the run? Xavier trusts his fellow mafia workers dearly.
