Flash fiction for the Weekend Write-In

She's waiting for the day when she can sink the knife a little deeper, throw herself down a little farther. She is tired. She wants rest. She is waiting. He's waiting for the day when his stomach shrinks into nothingness, until he can take his last breath. He is tired. He wants rest. He is waiting. This is a story of Lia and Trim. They don't love each other - they don't even know each other. But as the days slip by, one lonely blur after another, they begin to wait for death together. All rights reserved. Do not replicate.

This is a collection of quirky, tragic, serious, intimate, scary, and humorous flashfic all written with the goal of less-is-more! So take five minutes, relax and read a story, because the dishes can wait, the lawn isn't going anywhere, and if you're working from home, your boss will never know. Ragnhild Eilifsdotter is a Huldrekin, people related to the trolls of Norway, but more human-like. The men kept the people living under hill for centuries, so as soon as they were let out she moved to Seattle to experience some freedom. Unfortunately even the New World has rules and Ragnhild has to do a favor for a troll, always a tricky prospect.

Aren't we all sad? I've been rejected countless times, but judged even more, I hate myself, And I hate myself for not being able to love myself. I ALWAYS CRY MYSELF TO SLEEP. Sometimes because I'm angry, or sad... But there are times when I just don't feel anything at all but tears just stream down my cheeks. Are these not good reasons to 'rant' or write this book?
