In the middle of war between axis powers and the allies, women at home are working hard. Francis Ann is a prime example. One day, she meets James. A British soldier suffering with extreme injuries, leaving him unable to walk. Tragedy brings them closer together, but how can Francis resist his charm. With the constant pressure to be a proper housewife by her in-laws and the battle ragging on, Francis Ann must choose what will make her happy.
