Some call she's the light that shines in the darker times of the night, others call the guardian angel God sent to protect his children from danger, I call her mother. My mother is a hero who has passed through all obstacles in life. She survived bombs and bullets, being eaten by a crocodile and long months without out food. She might not be literate but what she has done with her life is better than any education. She has risen all of her children to be warriors at heart and be ready to share what they have with friends. Thanks to eyeslipsfeirce-write-a-thon, I have this chance to let the whole world know what kind of a woman my mom is and that I love her very much.

This story is based on my own experiences, about love,life and how my family accepted me as part of LGBTQ A quote that motivates me " being gay is not a sin it is a blessing from God that we should be proud of, either you are bisexual, lesbian, transgender or Gay we are born this way " #UnlimitedPride

This person is the definition of superwoman. #EyesLipsFierce (Without Cosmetics) As a Muslim girl, I do not promote the idea that makeup empowers woman. To be among the many honorable woman known as "fierce," you do not have to paint that "look" on your face, but take real action, show the world that you are strong, and always fight for your beliefs. Are we here to be in the most popular fashion magazines, or in history books?

This is the story on how my grandmother inspires me and still continues to do so each day. This is dedicated to her.

She's a woman because of her warmth, beliefs and strong determination. She's not weak nor the strongest in physical aspect. But she's clever and knows when to fight back. Sounds familiar? Because this is the same way as we describe our mothers. They are the epitome of women.
