Aadhira never believed some people could change your life without even trying. After losing the people she loved the most, she learned how to survive in silence. Books became her escape, writing became her voice, and loneliness became her closest companion. Then she met Arun. It wasn't love at first sight. There were no grand confessions. Just stolen glances across a café, unfinished conversations, shared silences, and a feeling she couldn't explain. Try imparting ur weak side by the strongest one, Hold ur goal with tenacity as clear as crystal sun. You will always be pestered, troubled, crumbled and taunted by the peoples of the society, But it ll be yours determination, commitment and hardwork that ll result in sucess at its almighty.

For this chapter of our lives, no matter how dark, chaotic or confusing it might all seem with the sheer tense and panic from COVID-19. This month's theme requires you to channel all those hidden, outspoken or scattered emotions, drawing them all out in an artistic and healthy way before ending on a lighter and positive note. Something you'd like to reflect on, give a shining ray of light in this time of uncertainty and frustration. A piece that you can refer back to and say "Hey, I survived this" with a soft smile. May it be a song, poem, a short story or article-based. Be it in English or Malay. May it be focused on your surroundings, the ones you love, the ones you wish to inspire or yourself. Alone and utterly depressed from an heartbreaking situation, Yasmeen is determined to focus on her promising career. Just in time, she gets a notification of transfer from her job to another branch in a faraway region. It is ofcourse devastating to leave behind her life and all she has ever known to a foreign midst. Who knows? This might just be the fresh start she seeks. Will she find it? Perhaps, we shall learn yet again that one can only run in circles around, but not away from fate!

Many things can be said and written. Not many things tell the truth. Yet, the truth could be a lie, and a lie never told. Stories are both truth and lies. A story has ones soul but told in a way no one ever knows that's what it is. Crystal Plains is a book filled with these stories. The only thing connecting them is the soul who wrote them.

Pick up your pens,heighten thy mind We're going to write, prepared or blind Don't let your thoughts be so confined Today's the day hand and soul be bind We writers unite We writers will fight We writers will take the plight To write the best story since the first of nights - Kobe The Writer's Club at University Preparatory School was started late 2017 by myself, Hannah Mason, and Emily Littau. We have not done a lot since it's creation but we did put on a writing workshop in March and we have 7-10 members. Now we are writing this anthology together. We voted on a topic (the topic "colours" was chosen) and signed up for colours to write on. Each member has 1-3 colours and will write at least one section. We as a club believe anybody can write, anybody can find joy in creating beauty with words, with a pen or fingers on a keyboard instead of paint and paintbrush or notes sung. There are many types of art. This time, we have chosen this one. We hope you enjoy.
