Ash and Dust is a short story written for the Creative Writing Ink Feb-March 2015 competition. Word count: 1235 Joan is a young woman working at a Aircraft Parts Factory during World War II. During a particularly long and boring shift, the air raid signal sounds, and she is thrust into a cold and damp bunker for the next 2 hours. When she emerges from the darkness, she is given some horrific news that has the potential to change her life forever.

A short story I wrote at school for a Young Writers writing competition, which ended up getting published in a book full of other successful entries. The theme given to us was 'hunted', I decided to write about my experience with anxiety throughout my life.

The Ocean too has her own thoughts and emotions and only wants the best for her precious and beloved children. A #PlasticOrPlanet Short Story specially written for the National Geographic Writing Competition in hopes of raising awareness on the importance of environmetal friendliness.
