Tributes from all over Panem are being taken to the Capitol for the 78th Annual Hunger Games - a normal Games, or so the tributes think. As soon as they arrive in the Capitol, though, before they are even brought to their rooms, they are wheeled into a small room. They are alone. Except for a camera, and a piece of paper telling them to explain their fondest memory, and their worst. As soon as they finish, they are wheeled to another room, this one filled with people and machinery and medicine. Here, a new experimental program, Tabula Rasa, will be performed on them. All their memories will be taken from them. Except for the two they just described Welcome to Panem, and welcome to Writer Games: Amnesia.

Welcome Clubs, Spades, Hearts and Diamonds, to the second year of the Ace Awards! Last year we brought undiscovered authors to the spotlight and gave the categories a chance to shine. We start a little later, but we begin none the less. This is a place of friendly competition, where underrated books have a chance to get the spotlight they deserve! Hosted by: @Pocketful_of_words

So there are a few of these going round, and I thought I'd try one myself. In total, 16 places are available; 2 girls, and 2 boys from each house. There will be a series of rounds, each one containing a different event. You must write about your character in the situation, and publish it. Once published, you can send me the link via comments, PM, or you can dedicate it to me. There will be a date by which the entries must be submitted, or else you shall be eliminated from the competition. There will be one person eliminated each round to begin with, but each round, more and more people will be "expelled from Hogwarts", so to speak. They shall be the ones with the least votes. After each round, I (and any other judges) shall see who got the most votes, and shall post the chapter displaying the results. Positions are open to be a judge - just comment or PM me. An exploration of my experience with the female gender and the correlation it has had with my relationship with the color pink. A strange blend of free-verse and prose, a depiction of the impact a color can have on societal norms.

Callize Ariestelle is a mermaid, or at least that's what the humans call the nixies: water spirits that can transform into human form. The nixies are long time enemies of the fae, even helping the human government capture them to harvest their magical blood, which has resulted in faeries becoming nearly extinct. Callize, however, feels a fascination toward faeries, constantly reading about them and drawing them, even though she has never seen one. That is, until the day she finds herself saving the stunning Accadia, and things take a turn heading for epic adventure. These Character cross over into Annabelle and Stella's world in part two, it is part of the chronicles.
