Historias de Writingrocks

I'm a writer-teacher. I write because I enjoy it and it brings me satisfaction. I teach writing for the same reasons. This was a bitter sweet moment this year. I've always felt it means a lot if a child takes the time to create anything for you in the time that is their own. I guess the wilting of the flowers was a reminder that everything is subject to change and that soon my time with this class will soon be over. Seeing your class depart is always a difficult time. The daisy chain represented this feeling perfectly for me that morning.
