In this futuristic novella, Lace Heavensmall is trapped at her high school during Freak Week, a global warming side effect that makes weather -- and people -- act completely nuts. Written by: Grace Helbig and me :)

This is a continuation to Grace Helbig's novella "Freak Week." In this chapter, Lace and her friends have to deal with not being able to control what they're saying.

High school is a jungle. Lace tries to stay awake to avoid talking in her sleep. Mr. Kevin pines for his ex-wife Donna. Lace and Crush share an intimate moment involving coal tar and psoriasis. The whole gang gets excited when it starts raining iced tea, but things turn bitter when they realize they've all been guzzling Honestea.

In the second chapter of Freak Week, the crew (Lace, Marmie, Banana, Mr. Kevin, Harry, and Crush) find themselves in the middle of a musical storm! Emotions and cellos fly as the gang reveals more about themselves. What could happen? What color hair does Crush have? What secret does Harry have? Alliteration is awesome!? Read to find out!

This is Chapter 3 of Grace Helbig's Freak Week from the @WritingWith contest! #WritingWithGrace In this the 3rd chapter of Freak Week the squad (Lace, Crush, Marmie, Banana, Henry and Dr. Kevin) are bombarded with aggressive emotions and strangely animal personalities. Tensions are high as the group have to face all of the negative emotions building inside them, and a new addition to the lot might just be a push in the wrong direction. Will the crew make it through? Or is it really a jungle out there?
