"The Healer" is a short, poetic text written for Inktober, made from the captions of the drawings I created for the challenge. If you want to see the drawings that match the captions, they will all be posted on my Instagram : capucine.jcmd. The text is about traumas and recovery. English isn't my native language so I'm sure there will be grammatical mistakes, and I'm sorry about that, I hope it will still be understandable.

Le Writober est l'équivalent littéraire de l'Inktober ^^ Tous les jours d'octobre, ceux qui le veulent peuvent produire un texte littéraire de son choix et de la forme désirée, selon un thème définis pas une liste.

Connaissez vous l'inktober ? Un jour un dessin avec un thème, un mot à chaque fois. Et bien j'ai décidé de faire même mais avec des écrits. Les textes sont chacun en rapport avec mes oc, des teasers des histoires que j'écris en somme. Toutefois, il se peut qu'il n'est aucun rapport en eux. C'est très probable même.

Cette année, je suis d'humeur à me lancer un défi ! Une histoire courte d'environ 1.000 mots par jours sur un thème donné ! C'est ça le Writober ! Toutes les infos sont dans le livre, premier chapitre, première page alors hop hop hop on va vite se renseigner :p

Some friends and I were doing art inspired by one-word prompts. While my friends are traditional artists, my medium is the written word, so I'm writing short stories or scenes related to the word. Prompts were chosen by one of us every week, either sometime Sunday or early Monday, and our art is due by the following Sunday. I also try to write something every day of October (2018 -2019) to go with the inktober prompts, so these will also be posted here. Figured since I was writing them anyway, I'd post them here too. My chapter titles are going to be of the form "Prompt - Specific Name of Piece", if you are curious what the prompt was. Various pieces are unlikely to be related, although if some of them find themselves linking up, I'll make a note of it. Currently interconnected pieces: "Roasted - Potatoes", "Muddy - A Child's Game", "Snow - Keres's Decision", "Overgrown - Aaryn and Daud", and "Legend - Aaryn's Lesson" all feature the main cast of my work in progress novel "A Traitor's Tale"
