"The Healer" is a short, poetic text written for Inktober, made from the captions of the drawings I created for the challenge. Some friends and I were doing art inspired by one-word prompts. While my friends are traditional artists, my medium is the written word, so I'm writing short stories or scenes related to the word. Prompts were chosen by one of us every week, either sometime Sunday or early Monday, and our art is due by the following Sunday. I also try to write something every day of October (2018 -2019) to go with the inktober prompts, so these will also be posted here. Figured since I was writing them anyway, I'd post them here too. My chapter titles are going to be of the form "Prompt - Specific Name of Piece", if you are curious what the prompt was. Various pieces are unlikely to be related, although if some of them find themselves linking up, I'll make a note of it.
