When Harry Potters brother, Charles, is decided to be the boy-who-lived, Harry's life turns out less then good. In fact, it is downright horrible. Lucky for him, Harry knows that he will grow up to do great things. He just doesn't know how great they will turn out to be.

Harry knew his faults, he knew he wasn't the smartest person around, but he didn't need good grades to know that bending rules of reality wasn't normal. Sure, it help that his friend could do it too, but what didn't help was a fucking giant that smelled like sausages and that carries a pink umbrella like its a weapon to tell him it was normal. Soon he pushed out of the foster system into a world where magic can do anything until it can't and where he has to respect those wearing bathrobes. Its all peachy after awhile, but its a big kick to the balls to find out that not only does he have a twin but that his parents are alive and left him, oh and that staff that runs the school are out to get him killed by the end of the year. Basically a fic where Harry has a personality, and a fic about the wrong boy who lived thing. But Harry's parents still loved him and are devastated like a normal parent would, and his twin isn't a dick.
