He was a terrifying, apex predator of the Chi Pack line! But when Wu Suowei took a clumsy step forward and buried his small fingers into the thick fur of Chi Cheng's neck, the young Alpha melted. A deep, rumbling purr-like growl vibrated in his chest-a sound of pure contentment. "You're a very big puppy," Wu Suowei concluded, giggling as the 'puppy' nudged his cold nose against his palm. The fear of being lost completely evaporated. "Are you lost too?"

Time pulled them apart gently at first, then completely, letting years and silence grow in between. When they met again, they are no longer boys-only strangers shaped by loss, standing at the edge of a memory that never truly let them go.
