This is my entry for The Wattpad "WutheringHeights" Movie Reimagined Contest. It is for all audiences. You will find a few cool quotes from the book. They belong to Ms. Brontë, I have just borrowed them and used them my way to highlight Cathy and Heathcliff's love.

What if Catherine Earnshaw had been a boy? (For the Wattpad Competition - pls vote)

When an unruly child named Heath arrives at Kate's family home, a great love affair ensues; one that transcends generations. This is a modernization of the classic Emily Bronte tale, Wuthering Heights.

This story was started as a reaction to the maltreatment of Dr Frankenstein's creation in the Penny Dreadful series, at his very birth, by his own father. I wished to be there, to set things right, but of course that would be silly, I'm a forty-five year old married woman, with three teenage children. So I invented a young indomitable spirit to do the job for me, and re-wrote that whole heart-rending scene. And then another scene, and another one, and before I knew it the characters started to lead their own lives, making their own decisions. The action loosely follows the series, but of course different choices result in curious plot-twists. I like to call this story the 'ladies' version' because my style is heavily influenced by English romantic literature. Also, making love is part of life, but to a woman suggestion is often stronger than description. I hope that you will let me know how you liked the story, and as I am not a native speaker, I appreciate comments on my use of the English language very much. Skip the prologue to go straight to the action if you're an impatient reader!

Wuthering Heights is an 1847 novel by Emily Brontë, initially published under her pen name "Ellis Bell". It concerns two families of the landed gentry living on the West Yorkshire moors, the Earnshaws and the Lintons, and their turbulent relationships with the Earnshaws' foster son, Heathcliff. The novel was influenced by Romanticism and Gothic fiction. Wuthering Heights is now widely considered to be one of the greatest novels ever written in English, but contemporaneous reviews were polarised. Beatrice has a normal family life, parents go out, sister gets babysat over the road, and she and her brother argue a lot. Then she travels to the past, 1864 to be precise. She is well known by everybody and so is her brother, he has also travelled with her. Despite all efforts to return home its useless, so Beatrice and Bradley are forced to get along and live life as normal. Beatrice must marry and Bradley must find love or move out. But everything is not as it seems and problems arise. With many twist and turns, and this novel is definitely not as black and white as it seems.
