Based on true events from WWE's NXT brand (with a twist!) Santos Escobar and Ava Sanchez are NXT's unofficial "power couple." Santos is the NXT Cruiserweight Champion and the leader of Legado del Fantasma, while Ava is fighting to prove herself in NXT's women's division. Ava seems to have it all: an unbreakable romance, three best friends, and a flourishing professional wrestling career. That is, until one costly mistake ruins everything. Will Ava bounce back from her never-ending hardships? Or will she break under the pressure?

Penelope Myers is forced to stop being the valet to some AEW talent and end her relationship with Mike Santana after her father finds out that she's been through the men's locker room in AEW. As an aspiring wrestler, she agrees to work in WWE's Adam Pearce's office while she referees matches and trains in the ring with Adam and her mentor, John Morrison. She catches herself going back to her old flirtatious ways when she's around her crushes backstage. Will Penelope find love with a colleague and a career in wrestling? Or will she ruin her entire life by going from one wrestler to another?
