Just the mere mention of her name had chill bumps dancing on his skin, just as the memory of them dancing. He didn't have the deep pockets that her father preferred, or the deep roots of a southern name to help him in business. Their love found a way until something snapped with Doc. He was not a man that let go so easily, but for her? He knew it was in his best interest to let go. (Y/N) (L/N) was not having it. She let him run the roads hotter than a smoke train, she let him make a name for himself in the Wild West. She allowed him to do that but when it came time to come home, she was hunting him like it was bounty and she had a family to feed. She picked up rumors, she listened to the streets; learned the way a Southern Belle should've never even glanced in the direction of. Finally, she got a lead on him and she was on the adventure to bring him home; where he belonged. ___ "I'm going to kill him, my heart. I need to know you'll forgive me when I do." There was no 'if's, it was as simple truth in the future. "Why would you need my forgiveness?" I asked without thinking. I wasn't the one traveling the world with him in tow. "I feel the attachment that you two have had the moment you touched him in the saloon. You may not realize it, but," Doc leaned down to whisper the next part in my ear, "you have a certain air around you that attracts every man that barks." "Good thing, my man howls." I smiled back at him, kissing his jawline.

Between the second and the third season (obviously after what happened in the beginning of the third season)-- a month after Alice's birth-- a mysterious woman walks into town. With Peacemaker on her hip and a quick tongue, trouble and revenants follow her wherever she goes. After coming back from the past, this woman only has one goal: save her parents. However, her parents-- Wynonna Earp and Doc Holiday-- are hesitant to believe her. With the future in jeopardy, Alice will have to save them, even if they don't allow it. All characters belong to SyFy and "Wynonna Earp." It is based on the TV series, not comic books. Also, I will not claim to know everything about "Wynonna Earp." I like "Wynonna Earp," but I am no expert. Wynonna Earp is absolutely amazing, and I cannot do it justice. Doc only knew of the tragic death of his beloved and his son, who supposedly, never even took a breath. Wyatt contemplated telling his friend the truth. He decided. Wyatt stood up apprehensively, taking one last look at his friend. "Thanks for always being there Doc." They exchanged knowing looks, nodding at each other. ~~~ The reasons behind all that transpired to that woman giving up her son for Virgil Earp and his wife to raise and her wanting to vanish, is hard to comprehend unless you know the story. And this is it.
