She believes he's innocent, asking him to aid her in the investigation. But they have to work fast, before Tyler is deemed too dangerous for the school and sent to another asylum. The hunt for the culprit leads right into Tyler's past and makes him question whether what he believes about himself is actually true. Perhaps it's not too late to make the heart of this Hyde flicker? *** This story is set in an imagined season 4 of the show. It's told entirely in Tyler's POV as he navigates Nevermore after having learned to control his Hyde (well, somewhat at least... you'll see!). It also features a slow burn (because I don't think there is any other way to do this, as there is a lot of healing and mending needed) romance between him and Wednesday.

This story picks up after season 2: While on the hunt for Enid, Wednesday finds herself in Hyde territory during an impending winter storm. The last person she expects to come to her rescue is the Hyde she set free and gave a second chance to in Iago Tower: Tyler Galpin. Tyler never expected to see Wednesday again, but after witnessing her nearly be shredded by Hydes, he vows to save and protect his merciful ex. Between surviving Camp Hyde, the rumored beast in the woods, returning to Nevermore and Willow Hill, and saving Enid, Tyler and Wednesday's relationship is constantly challenged and interrupted (partly thanks to Fester). Both must fight for what they truly want and for each other. In this enemies-to-lovers, second chance Wyler fanfiction romance, Tyler Galpin gets a second chance at being a hero and overcoming his past and the mistakes he made. Wednesday has the chance to see the part she played in Tyler's villain story and to overcome her own insecurities and fears. Both are given the opportunity to start over and be together without secrets, vendettas, or ulterior motives hanging over the relationship. Written from a present-tense, dual POV, we get to get inside both character's minds. POVs switch between chapters. New chapters to be uploaded weekly.

Had she known him for two weeks, two months, or two lifetimes? It didn't matter, because when Wednesday saw Tyler again, it was as if no time had passed.

He deserves better. He deserves a redemption arc. Tyler is the Hyde, it's not a guess. I will find him, and expose him to everyone that cares about him. Tyler is unoriginal, sloppy, and he will slip up. Like Macbeth once said, "Look like the innocent flower, but be the serpent under it." The cold-blooded creatures finds contentment in the hunt, stalking out and preying on their victims when the time is right. This serpent in particular enjoys slithering through the cracks when no one is watching, but not this time. I will be the falcon that unveils Tyler's schemes.
