In a land corrupted by the undead, a group of four humans venture out into the unknown. The world is dangerous, tales darker than the night sky lurk here. Yet, they carry the fire to extinguish the night, and bring daybreak back to this mystical land.

Gavel's death agent, Lazerin is a psychopath himself but due to a miscalculation experiment, he has self pity for the unfortunate and, though mad is quite reliable for cleaning up leftovers lingering around places. Meeting the leader of the Skien army, his swords play has improved for years until a traitor turns up among the island. Worried that he might turn against him, Skiens leader has sent him to Nemract to help the villagers against the army of undeads. During the fight,he discovers the forbidden and Ancient Nemract has fallen to Charon and was task to seal him away. Can the young swordsman stop the leader of the undeads from destroying another town? The truth lies beyond life and death.

A young traveler mage set out on a journey after Wynn gave way to corruption. He finds two Wynn soldiers (an archer and a warrior) and an assassin to accompany him through his quests and eventually, to save Wynn and every other province in the land.
