This is a Wynonna Earp/The Vampire Diaries AU fanfic. I don't own any of the characters. They belong to The CW and SyFy. This fic follows Nicole, a nearly 400 old hybrid and heretic, in her journey to find her place on Earth, after killing Cade and becoming leader of Hell. She stumbles into the Ghost River Triangle and finds herself a hundred years into the past, 2015.

The new deputy sheriff has arrived and by her first day she's ruffled some feathers. When Waverley lays eyes on her, her life is flipped on its head, and her sister found someone to work with.

Nicole and Waverly had issues while they were dating, issues that involved them distancing each other and not talking for a few months, issues that involve fighting most of their relationship. Waverly tries, she tries so hard to get Nicole to be a part of her life, even just as a friend. She just wants Nicole to be there because she loves her, she always did.

A young woman brushed past, Nicole catching her perfume, a floral hint, light, bohemian if someone forced her to find words to describe its effects on her nose, perfectly matching the body movements of this stranger, her clothing suggesting artist, perhaps hippy. Not her type, she concluded watching as this intriguing creature moved effortlessly through the room like a hand dangled in water as someone rowed them on a lazy afternoon.

10 years later and luckily a gentle breeze seemed to have soothed all the scars. Wynonna and Doc lived together with Alice. Nicole and Waverly were raising Julia in their own home. The latter not far from the favourite uncles of their daughters, Robin and Jeremy. The supernatural events, disappeared with the curse, so life was almost normal again. However, that was before a man entered Shorty's and rang the bell to the beginning of new adventures. Because, of course, in Purgatory, nothing ever goes according to plan. And when we feel like it can't get any worse. It does.
