The word mate being thrown around a lot. And random people always milling about. Not to mention everyone in the town seems to know the same secret. It's all very strange. When someone starts to mess with the people in the town, Wulfric sees it as his duty to protect Wynter. As it it gets more and more dangerous, Wynter isn't sure she's ready to give up her freedom and give in to a bossy man like Wulfric. She isn't sure about anything really. Except that she just wants to find Home.
