"What are you doing here?" he questioned, his voice a husky of depth. "This is reserved land, tourists aren't allowed here." "W-who are you?" He wasn't the uniform that the Rangers wore, so I knew he wasn't a part of them. He was a random man. If I wasn't supposed to be out here, then he wasn't either. He had to be at least a half a foot taller than me. His hair was tousled over his head, in an unmistakable windblown quiff. In the dense lighting of the woods, his eyes were piercing as he looked me over. The confident stance and his muscular body left me feeling overwhelmed. He could be a mass murdered and easily able to overpower me. I didn't know. Just being around left me feeling slightly terrified. He radiated authority and power. "There are wolves running in these woods, períergi. It's not fairytale. It's real." "Of course wolves aren't fairytale," I retorted. "They're a protected species by the feds. If you'll point me in the right direction, I'll be going back to the park grounds." I looked around trying to find the best route of escape. Every angle I turned revealed gleaming gold eyes in the shadows of the woods. It appeared as if a whole pack of wolves had surrounded us. A small whimper escaped my throat as I looked back to him. His eyes darkened slightly as he stared into the distance at the wolves. He stepped forward immediately once again invading my personal space. His nostrils flared briefly before his arms wrapped around me tightly, pulling me into his chest. His head lowered slightly and I felt his chin rest on my head. "Den tha mas vlápsei. Wolves are social creatures by nature," he said. "You'll get used to being around them. Eláte se mas." Shock nor horror could describe how I felt. Wolves moved from the shadows into the light. Their muscular lean bodies moved with a lethal grace. They continued coming forward until we were both surrounded. Close enough to us that I felt the breath of two wolves brushing against me.

Nearly everyone is familiar with the adventures of the simulation soldiers from Bloodgulch and the exploits of the agents Carolina, Washington, Maine, Wyoming, Texas, C.T., Florida, and the Dakotas. She needs help, but even her friends, the marauders and lily evans, don't know that she can do all of that. And Wyoming can't exactly tell them, can she. Not if she wants to protect their lives too. I can't tell anymore, after years of living with this story, if it is fictionalized fact or fiction with some truth in it. It is, and has always been, what I like to call "Faction." Yes, you can use that word... The cover dog has nothing to do with the story. But he sure is a cute puppy.

He looked at her, almost for too long, but then again, she didn't really notice how long it was-- she was too busy studying his dirty, bearded, face. Suddenly he looked down and just as she thought. . . He was blushing again. His poor head was spinning, Athena couldn't help that the sun made her brown eyes look like perfect golden pools of honey, and after all the time that Mr. Styles spent out working with so many smelly men, every whiff of Athena's sweet, clean hair, made him wonder what it would be like to get a little closer to her all the more. Athena was a hard woman, and he could tell. Her facial expressions only made her all the more intimating to him. Mr. Styles was a very simple man, he didn't say much, unless there were words in need of being said. He was a man who said what he believed and believed what he said, and no man could change his mind once he came to a conclusion. But what really concerned the poor fellow was how he couldn't put together his words no matter how hard he tried to come up with a sentence when he was around Athena. He would shove his fists in his pockets and pull at his beard when he would stutter and blush while speaking with the farmer's daughter. You all probably know how and when Florida was discovered. By the Spaniards! But did you know that it was actually much more valuable that the state went from country to country. From Spain's rule, to Frances, then to England, and back to Spain until it was finally taken by the USA. But lets say that there was an alternative universe where Florida was an actual person, and so were the other states and countries of the world. What will happen to our grief-stricken state. Sage was your typical nerdy main character. She was the one.who always sat in the back of the class, was weird in a way that remains indescribable, uncontrollably awkward, too kind, unattractive, and so on. The DUFF as well, one could say. Typically, she fancies people well out of her league and has trouble settling for less than her ridiculously high standards. That's right, forever single. Despite being a hopeless romantic, she can't handle being within the romance. Some people are just better at observing from the outside. She had few friends, her circle consisting of less than 10 people, more of which found her annoying than actually liking her. Really only significantly close to maybe 3 of her friends. Though she wasn't certain, most of the time. Still, she considered anyone that talked to her a good friend until she need think otherwise. Such is the way of the weirdo. As you can see, this is your typical teenager to adult story, only this one is realistic. Sage doesn't miraculously learn how to apply makeup, she doesn't lose a hundred pounds over summer break, and she doesn't become this confident queen overnight just because she removed her glasses. The popular guy doesn't fall in love with her quirkiness. She is a 4/10 on the scale for eternity. Maybe she can learn to love herself at some point though.
