One mission changes everything. When a mysterious portal tears open during a battle, Lloyd, Nya, Zane, Cole and Jay are pulled into another world. Kai is the only one left behind. In the strange new world, the ninja discover a peaceful civilization with no way home. Their only hope is to wait for the portal to reopen... even if it takes three long years. Back in Ninjago, the world falls apart. A deadly corruption spreads across the land, turning thousands into terrifying zombies. Lloyd has a twin sister who he barely remembers. It's been years since he's seen her. Now here she is, staring back at him, just as surprised as he is. Even in the middle of a battle they can't focus. Kai had mentioned seeing a girl who looked just like his little brother, but he hadn't expected it to actually be her. Most of this was written like two years ago, so I'm no longer very attached to the characters anymore, but here we are. This is mostly just humor because I suck at writing angst, but boy do I try.
