X-23 Stories

Laura Kinney or X-23 as she was known, is in a different world. Unlike most other versions of her across the multiverse, which she has met, this Laura is significantly more powerful. This is due to the fact that when she was created, Laura was met to be an upgrade from Wolverine. The people behind her creation seemed to learn from Weapon X. As a result, Laura's entire skeleton is now laced in Adamantium like her father, however, unlike him, it is not toxic to her body. This means her healing factor is not burdened by adamantium poisoning, making her regenerative abilities unparalleled. It is unknown exactly how they managed to do this. However, because of the fact, Laura is even more dangerous than her main universe counterpart. In a typical battle with an unidentified mutant with a dimension hopping ability, Laura is transported to this strange world called, Night City. Now stuck in a desert like area called the badlands, Laura goes on to do what every 'merc' does. Take contracts, make insane money and kill whoever gets in her way.

This is the story about after Logan and how Laura fends for herself after she separates from Rictor and his group. She has to learn how everything works and she has to deal with all of the trauma she has gone through. (I do not own any marvel characters like Rictor, Laura, or Logan).

Laura hates Spider-man. He never shuts up and is constantly annoying her. He just makes her already hard life harder. But she can always count on her living boyfriend to cheer her up, and his name is Peter Parker.

Still coping with the loss of Wolverine, the X-Men are being slowly crippled one by one... by an enemy that they can't see, hear or even smell. With the newest victim being the powerhouse mutant - Storm - what hope do they have of holding the Institute together? And what does X-23 have to do with all of this?

Why is it so much easier to burn than it is to heal? Laura had claws, but being normal was all she had craved since the day she was born. She never asked for this life. She thought that being a mutant was the worst curse that could possibly befall a person. To make matters worse, Laura became an unfortunate victim of William Stryker's twisted experiments on mutants. She was then known as X-23. Being cut open and tortured had torn down whatever traces of faith and hope she had left. After a whole year, Laura finally grabbed onto an opportunity to escape the hell she was sentenced to. However, they've done so much damage to her brain, that all she could remember was the pain of the experiment. She did not know who she was, who her family was, or even her last name. Her soul was broken. She was sure that she would never find herself again until she met Logan, someone who truly understood her pain, her experiences, her despair. Will they hold on to each other, guide each other, and find their own happy endings, or will they be hindered by their long and painful pasts? *author's note: this fan fiction was written before the release of Logan. BACK STORY Let me introduce myself, my name is Weapon X-2 but I prefer people to call me X. I don't have a real name since I was raised and trained at the same military base my father and other muntants were experimented on. I broke out of the base when i was 9 almost 10, which means I'm the top target for all the mutant haters in the world including people who work with Weapon X . My father. That's an interesting topic. My father doesn't know I exist and I'd like to keep it that way. You see my father is Weapon X or you might call him The Wolverine. I call my father Weapon X for many reasons, number 1. I don't need a father, mother, or guardian. Number 2. I was raised to call people by their experimental names. Number 3. it feels weird if I call someone 'father' or 'dad. Number 4. I'm 10, I can and have taken care of myself. As well as protecting myself along with others for more than a year now. I'm doing fine without anyone. Weapon X didn't know my mother was pregnant so when she pretended to die and was taken back to one of Stryker's military bases she gave birth to me and hid me in a safe house. Hours later the base was destroyed. I was found when Stryker's men where looking for survivors. Apparently I was the only survivor due to the explosion and my mutation. Cover by KittenGirlidk
