Mariel is on vacation in England. The last thing she expects is to be dragged into UK's upcoming X-Factor by her old school friend, Tia. But that's exactly was Tia does, and soon the unique Australian friends find themselves immersed in the world of fame, music and a newly formed band known as One Direction.

After being bullied as a child and going through some tough times, 14 year-old Liam Payne's dream has always been to become the next big thing and change the world. Auditioning for UK television show "The X-Factor" could either help him rise to fame or cut his dreams short.

I have been working on a story about a girl named Skyler Collins. She is a young singer trying to make it in the world starting at the bottom. She decides - although she is a little shy - to enter a well known competition, X-factor. Along the way she hits some bumps with her BF and also with her BFF.
