As Professor Xavier envisions Amberle as a professor for the academy, instead of an X-men. Things quickly begin to spiral out of control as her friend, Jean Grey, absorbs an unknown cosmic force after a mission gone wrong. Her friend's already short temper starts to dissipate, causing tensions to rise further. And her friends abilities become infinite beyond what was thought possible. The circumstance are not ideal, but an opportunity arises where Amberle may be able to prove her worth as an X-men.
