Xaden's Pov of some of his major interactions with Violet and a few scenes of my own, this may contain spoilers from iron flame so if you haven't read it yet this may not be the story for you. Rylee Pine was fated to join the Riders Quadrant at Basgiath War Collage after receiving her rebellion relic, though the path that earned her that relic was different than most. Her sister, Seren Pine, gave her life to save Fen Riorson's in the battle of Aretia. The Rebellion was a failure, so her sister death had been for nothing. Thanks to her sisters part in the Rebellion, she was marked. Rylee was allowed to live with her cruel father since he had stayed loyal. Her father, Colonel Pine, was promoted for his part in fighting the Rebellion and now was head of interrogation. Rylee has taken responsibility for both Violet and Remi Sorrengail in exchange for being allowed to live. This is parallel Fourth Wing. Some parts also follow with Fear & Flame by hurricane. Some of the characters who you don't recognize aren't mine. They were created by hurricane, in Basgiath Remi's version. However, Rylee, Seren, their parents, and their dragons are mine. I do want to warn those who might find this triggering. Rylee deals with depression and anxiety, sometimes it is really bad, and there is some suicidal thoughts and self harm.
