While writing this book, I learned that it was ok to feel. Anger. Happiness. Despair. Anguish. It was ok to feel. But while allowing myself to grow to learn how to feel, I came to a point in my life where I wanted to stop which is how I started writing xanax and alcohol. Xanax and alcohol when mixed together can kill you because it takes longer for your body to break up the enzymes so it can detoxify the body and that's a lot of what my poems are about. The life experiences I went through that nearly killed me but in the end shaped me into who I am today.
